Schatten über Coruscant 

Ein Sturm zieht auf. Die schwarz-blauen Regenwolken brauen sich bedrohlich über den kilometerhohen Wolkenkratzern der Metropole zusammen. Die Stimmung in der Stadt ist bedrückend und angespannt. Die Bewohner Coruscants sind verunsichert. Niemand weiß so wirklich wie es weiter geht. Vor wenigen Tagen hat der Kanzler die Republik in das erste galaktische Imperium überführt und sich selbst zum Imperator ernannt. Die Hüter des Friedens und der Gerechtigkeit sind fort. Gehasst, gejagt und größtenteils ausgelöscht, haben sich die letzten Überlebenden über die gesamte Galaxis verstreut. Coruscant ist nicht mehr die schillernde Vorzeige-Stadt, die sie mal war. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit hat sich Situation der Megametropole drastisch gewandelt. Die Freiheit des Individuums steht nun hinten an. An erster Stelle steht das Imperium und der Imperator. Der Senat bestehend aus hunderten Senatoren, aus unzähligen Systemen, wurde mehrheitlich einvernehmlich entmachtet. Entscheidungen werden fortan von einer Person und nicht mehr im Konsens getroffen. Für die Bürger des Stadtplaneten Coruscant hat die politische Neuausrichtung erhebliche Konsequenzen. Strengere Kontrollen, höhere Abgaben und weniger Mitspracherecht. Die Galaxis befindet sich noch ganz am Anfang dieser neuartigen Entwicklung und schon jetzt blicken viele sorgenvoll in die Zukunft ...
