Tracy Pearl adopts their Jerry Unknown alias for ‘Unknown 03’ this July

Jerry Unknown is the alternative, left of centre project from the mysterious LA-based DJ/producer Tracy Pearl. Following two exceptional releases, the Unknown Recs label head returns to their own imprint with more dazzling productions, delivering a kaleidoscopic set of tracks spanning ambient, house, and beyond.

Leading the release, ‘03 A’ sees wonky pads and twisted FX make way for languid basslines and skippy drums, making for a glowing deep house cut of the finest order. ‘03 B’ follows with weightless, flickering percussion and a healthy dose of dream-like soundscapes.

Following is the downtempo ‘03 C’, which sees glossy pads intertwine with a rolling drum loop for a low slung and emotive roller. ‘03 D’ closes out proceedings with smoked-out synths and bumping kicks combining for a relaxed and hazy close to the EP.

Helter returns to Truth Radio with another EP of skipping electro/house rhythms, shimmering pads and glistening minor-key melodies. More for headphones than dancefloors, Fold builds and dissipates in intensity over six tracks, each with a warm, analogue-based palate and a digital sheen. The beats have slowed to a mid-pace, giving space to a delicate patchwork of synths and rhythmic components that ebb and flow throughout, not unlike Floating Points or Patricia. Fans of Helter’s earlier underground house releases won’t be disappointed, but Fold offers much more texture and depth.

The constant struggle of being between the interior and the exterior often overlooks the simple fact that they are one and the same. With all the smoke and mirrors, we generate ourselves, it’s easy to forget that. In order to find some peace or place in the endless void, one must strive for the same existence, inside and outside.
[RCMTRL003] Daniel Slabosky - Mafchid (Hebrew for ‘Scary’), a headfirst dive into the ancient unknown where the longing for a connection, physical or otherwise, first got its name and where sounds of lyra, bass and various percussion instruments wrap around distant vocals, delivering a sincere and abstract call for other beings.
Daniel Slabosky is a singer-songwriter and a sound technician, born and raised in Jerusalem, these days based in Tel Aviv. ‘Mafchid’ is his third official release following ‘Five Minutes’ released on Uganda Records and the self-titled E.P. released on No Coast.
The title track is accompanied by Simi Lee Jones' melancholic-sunset-period-bass-piece edit and the sprawling four by four dark dub by asKesem, both building upon the original’s foundation while defining and expanding its essential elements. Written, produced and mastered by Daniel Slabosky

Caracteres first release comes from the hand of Ópalo, an Ecuadorian project named after the gemstone associated with the sacral chakra. It is said it has properties to moderate and harmonize sexual desires and balance problems with addictions. In some cultures it is believed that Opal is a symbol of hope, purity and truth.
La Edad Invisible is Ópalo's first release and first LP. The idea of the project is to share fine cuts of electronica, ambient and idm, heavenly influenced by the 90's trip-hop scene. Ópalo is a fictional electronic band, which uses keyboards, drum machines and synthesizers to create contemporary pieces of music. The name of the album is given after an abstract idea of an age the artist didn't want to be noticed, and also the age that is not noticeable in physical characteristics.
The album starts off with two laid back tunes, inspired in the melancholy and sadness that the artist experimented during a family conflict. As the album evolves, ambient pieces serve as interlude for new instrumental nocturne tracks. Some of this pieces where composed for video art and then included as part of the LP.
An important part of the development of the album is the continuous collaboration with the visual artist Joaquin Dávila, which asked Romero to put some music together for his video art projects. He also designed and composed the image of the artwork, giving the album a unique concept.

Vintage avant-garde and prestigious artistic flights, these are the bitter ingredients used by Marcio McFly in his solo project, when pausing from “Cani Giganti”. Inspirations from an analogical parallel world, which is back here again to fascinate machines-addicted by exploring a kind of evolved “futuristic techno-pop”. Artificial flowers are sent to the curious mixture of erudite listeners and new-clubbing figures. “Conservare le Macchine è un Dovere” = "TO PRESERVE THE MACHINES IS A MUST", follows the path indicated by the previously acclaimed "Farsi le Foto", constituting an artistic work exploding in a self-created-world where Marcio fishes from street-arts and from his most creative illness. “Conservare le Macchine è un Dovere” is an ambitious release where dancy tracks are formidably intersected with pleasant techno-pop songs. This is a though work for you, 51beaters!

This time I am sharing a selection of works that I have been slowly developing throughout the summer months. They are the result of a personal process of exploration, where I have tried to learn, experiment, and challenge myself with new sounds, effects, and different ways of connecting and editing them. From a techno perspective, these tracks are not meant to be definitive statements, but rather small steps in my path of growth as a producer.

Each piece was first imagined in silence, in those quiet moments where ideas arrive unexpectedly and invite you to listen more deeply. Many of them were started during different trips, inspired by the places, moods, and atmospheres I experienced along the way. Later, I returned to them with patience in my studio, where I took the time to polish and finish them during the last few months.

What I share here is not a final destination, but part of an ongoing process. These tracks are exercises in learning and, at the same time, honest attempts to capture ritms and patterns. My intention is to eventually use them in a live performance, where I hope they can connect with others in a more direct and genuine way.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.

The sound of Kawatin is just like a time travel. His tune makes your moment eternal. You trip to your past and then your future with his music. You experience deja vu and reach to a cloudland.
He made his debut with "Steal The Funk EP/Play Recording" in 2006. In the same year, he was highly praised with his remix for "My Style by Si Begg-Kawatin Remix/Noodles".  His unique sound cannot be categorized to any existing genre. 
"DJ Kawatin Okawari Show on iBreaks" started in 2005 and he had his deep and underground DJ show for five years. 
In 2011, "Tokyo Salvage EP" was released from Ricochet Records. The track became a hot topic in the underground scene and was chosen for "Tracks of the Year" of PMS show on BBC radio. 
His music makes you realize you can move to the next level.
