Iker Castillo, aka KAXMI or kaxmi (pronounced kax-mee), is a 13-year-old tearout producer from Houston, known for his gritty sound design and striking GFX. Iker started making music sometime in 2020, but back then, he didn’t really know how producing even worked. Four years later, he rebranded as HYVYE, a name he carried for the rest of 2024.

During that time, life in Houston was tough. Living with his aunt and brothers, Iker faced a lot—and things got even worse when school became a daily struggle, making life feel miserably heavier. But then, on the afternoon of February 21, he made a choice that changed everything: he left HYVYE behind and became KAXMI. It wasn’t just a name—it became who he was, no matter where he found himself.

Sometime after that moment, he turned 13.
And now, this is where he stands: KAXMI.
