It's been almost 3 years since the first volume of Dancefloor Detonators graced our shelves and heated up our dancefloors, so it's a pleasure to get a second volume in our hands with which to enhance our nocturnal revelries.

As with Volume 1, the ethos is to pick some of the label's most loved digital-only tracks and release them on wax, accompanied by some exclusive new cuts to keep things fresh and juicy.
Featuring label regulars Secret Circuit, Sordid Sound System and Bal5000 alongside Optimo Music regular Feon and newcomer Wanda Krak, the resultant 5-tracker is nothing short of sublime.

Sordid Sound System takes us into that space that only he seems to be able to take us. Those who know his sound will find the familiar use of analogue gear is a staple. Echoes of Kosmische, acid, On-U Sound style dub effects, monumental breakdowns ebbing and flowing...it's all you need wrapped into one ten-minute epic odyssey.

Between Disco and Techno, between poetry and madness, between strangeness and concreteness, rises the music of My Secret Playground. He delivers on the imprint, always with precision and perfection, two original tracks made for dancing.
“Ich Geh Nicht Mit Dir” is a stunning, intoxicating title, which could lead the crowd to a certain alienation. The metronomic groove of the song is carried by swirling vocals and pads, an almost horrifying atmosphere of a manhunt !

The second original piece, “Running through Fiction” is definitively a pure dancefloor track! The manhunt goes to the next level; danger is everywhere, and the only way out is certainly the dancefloor! The dance steps follow one after the other, the sneakers smoke, and the bodies sweat. Welcome in the secret playground !

Welcome to the talented Jason Core on the imprint. The Spanish producer gives to the eponym track a more Italo way, giving extra energy. And when the acid wave breaks, it’s crazy !

To close the excellent release, Jakob Mäder is back with a pretty housy remix of the second original track. And when the piano is added to the rhythm, a king of melancholy accompanies the hearts. Or maybe it’s joy?

We finally left for a new long journey. Our Levantine fleet commander guided our ship through this new astral body form: a space symphony.
This triangle featured a strange character in each corner who, connected with the other characters in the other corners,
blocked us in the middle, perhaps to scrutinize us closely, perhaps to learn about our technologies or perhaps simply as
a form of defense.
Levantine with skill and great courage freed us by hitting this great astral body with cosmic synthesizers and hypnotic
harmonies. Once freed, we set off on our journey, maybe it didn't end there.

Hirschmann a longtemps entretenu un univers ésotérique, nourri de kicks distordus et d’incantations sibyllines. De temps à autre, il vogue vers des nappes acides, parfois lascives, parfois précises, au gré de ses envies. 

Après un EP solo en 2020 et une sortie chez Ritmo Fatale en 2021, il a pris le temps de recomposer son spectre musical et d’affiner son style. Il revient en juin 2024 sur le label lyonnais Sharped Records pour une sortie techno qui flirt avec l’EBM et les tons indus’. 
Avec Ima Studio, il mijote en parallèle un premier album très personnel qui devrait voir le jour sur leur propre entité pluridisciplinaire. 

La forte influence des années 80 de Neurotiker est très apparente dans son style de production.

DJ depuis 1999, il a développé son propre style de production musicale, qui va de la techno au disco, avec toujours une touche rétro dans sa musique. Influencé par le son des années 80, il essaie de créer un son unique comme il l'exprime dans ses dernières sorties.

Hirschmann has long cultivated an esoteric universe, fueled by distorted kicks and enigmatic incantations. At times, he drifts towards acidic soundscapes, sometimes languid, sometimes sharp, depending on his mood.

After a solo EP in 2020 and a release on Ritmo Fatale in 2021, he took the time to redefine his musical spectrum and refine his style. He makes his return in June 2024 on the Lyon-based label Sharped Records with a techno release flirting with EBM and industrial tones.

Alongside Ima Studio, he is also working on a deeply personal debut album, set to be released on their own multidisciplinary platform.

Neurotiker's strong 80s influence is unmistakable in his production style.

A DJ since 1999, he has developed a distinct musical signature, ranging from techno to disco, always infused with a retro touch. Influenced by 80s sounds, he strives to create a unique sonic identity, as reflected in his latest releases.

Paradise + acid = Paradacid. Paradacid is a two-part EP that blends the gritty sounds of 303 and 808 machines with the euphoria of warehouse raves and the ambiance of virtual landscapes and Final Fantasy soundtracks. 

This EP combines introspective tracks from periods of isolation with uplifting ones from moments of release, offering a diverse sonic experience without pushing a narrative. It's up to the listener to find their own meaning within the vibrant mix of old and new. 

The essence of "Paradacid" lies in its name—a blend of paradise and acid, symbolizing the fusion of blissful soundscapes with the sharp, distinctive edges of acid house and electro.
