DDD is ecstatic to welcome Tennessee’s finest sub flexor Chief Kaya to the roster, with his weighty, wobbly and woozy debut two tracker: Burning Bush / Implicit.

Bringing classic UK dubstep flavours to the table with fresh execution, these tracks carry so much heat they quite literally caused a bassbin to be engulfed in flames - much like the classic biblical tale that is the inspiration. 

Burning Bush begins proceedings with its infectious synths, reverb drenched snare and low end wubs, before Implicit finishes the job with top tier wonk and intricate hihat patterns.

2025 seems to be the year of Canada when it comes to the sickest DDD releases - and with Snipa, Abstrakt Sonance has cooked up a dubstep heater so deadly - it’ll kill with precision from up to 140 miles away. 

Utilising his signature blend of organic percussion, scattered chops and savage sub frequencies - this one doesn’t just do sound system damage, it’ll leave any rig powerless, never to be used again.

Who’s the worst kept secret of the 140 scene? Smart money is on dubstep’s most intrepid shaman journeyman, Leo Cap. 

A law unto himself, with Changer EP, Leo’s stepping up to be a true Bad Man. Six immaculately crafted deep system bangers that stand up to any producer on the planet, with unreal sonic clarity, EQ depth and percussive energy. 

Lead single Bad Man begins proceedings with a groove so gangsta it makes G Unit look like the Jonas Brothers, whereas Selfish offers 2025’s best screw face inducing synth line. Changer switches things up with a futuristic soundscape before the drop obnoxiously slaps you around the chops and fails to apologise. 

Feel the Vibe comes in as cold as the arctic circle with its hypnotic swing, before Play flips proceedings to a technical playground of shaman sorcery - with EP closer Perfect gradually building to a wall of dub influenced bass weight and reverb drenched rim clicks.

Foda-C” (“Fuck it”, in Portuguese), a piece I crafted to be a trippy, powerful and culturally-charged dubstep experiment. The concept blends the intensity of Baroque and Gothic aesthetics with modern sound design: church ambience recordings captured inside Portuguese churches, analog textures, cutting-edge mid-bass work, and percussion pitched for psychedelic breaks and movement.

This track is a statement and a push for the local scene here in Portugal.
The lyrics play with spiritual irreverence:

“Quando eu subi aos céus disse pra todos os mortais, fodam-se vocês agora que a mim não fodem mais.”
“When I rose to the skies, I told all mortals: fuck yourselves now — you won’t fuck with me anymore.”

It’s part joke, part truth, part liberation ritual.

The release also comes with a handcrafted music video, it carries a strong visual identity and supports the narrative of the track perfectly. Video clip will be released 8 dez on youtube.
