KAYAS - She Spider [Mew Cover]

KAYAS is an Indie-Folkpop trio from Bandung, Indonesia. Initially started in mid 2012, the trio iNai (Vocal, former vocalist of Jellybelly), Ary Kobe (guitar) & Fiersa Besari (guitar & vocal), decided to create a song that combine all of their different musical preferences, iNai with shoegaze and dreampop influence, Ary with all the ethnic and accoustic instrumental, Fiersa with a strong Folk culture. The band was called Lembayung Senja, the first song is Lepas.

After Fiersa focused more on his solo album, the band decided to change its name to KAYAS and the music evolved as Aum (guitar, also active in KUBURAN band), Alfansadewa (Drum) & Egi (Bass) join the band. In mid 2022, after years of hiatus from being together as a band, KAYAS decided to regroup with new formation. iNai, Ary Kobe & new member, Panji (acoustic guitar) as a new trio format.
