KAYF LIMITED is back with new release - Transylvania, a four track e.p. Produced by Alexander Lozovoy, he delivers two very snazzy, sublime and introspective productions. And, as expected from the Kayf stable, two differently flavoured remixes by label head-honcho Artur Nikolaev alongside Peruvian producer Alejandro Cuestas. 

The first track is Village and opens the e.p. with an intelligent and intricate minimal techno affair. While forged from cinematic tones, Village evolves into a much brighter, vibrant and melodic motif. The second track is e.p. title track, Transylvania, which offers the listener a very high-tech and stripped back creation. With lots of moving parts, the overall hypnotic flow takes you to a place you have never been to before. 

Cuestas remix might be considered as more dance-floor friendly with its percussive-driven power blended with rippling, haunting synths and ethereal pads adding further warmth and depth. 

Nikolaev brings the heat on his interpretation, lifting the energy even more with a very high-tech, stripped-back, minimal monster that builds to a slow-release of tension before big beats take over and drive the rhythms to new levels of harmonic progression.

KAYF LABEL is very pleased to present a new imprint KAYF LIMITED.

The first release, an EP by Alex Pessa, includes stunning remixes by Nima Gorji, Hansel! and KAYF head-honcho Artur Nikolaev.

The title track ‘Spy' is pure hi-octane power and will lift any dance floor, anytime… showcasing Alex's authentic minimalistic signature sound, blended with deep groove touches. Nima's remix takes the track to a deeper place with a journey along to his laid-back and respected production style.

The Hansel! version takes a different direction, fusing the beats with acid elements, venturing into an even deeper, groovy zone. Artur's edit kicks the tune into another level entirely, lifting the tune to a full-on, funked-up, minimal monster with extra vocal samples, pads and keys.

‘Somnis en Camí', the final offering, is a really moody affair with killer background vocals and synth stabs, perfectly completing the EP.

KAYFLTD001 - Alex Pessa - Spy (Hansel! Remix)

KAYF LIMITED returns with its next instalment featuring Marlene Magnoli, a new breed of DJProducer from Berlin delivering a 3 track EP, brimming with edgy, groovy industrial techno bangers. The first track, Artiodactylas Caravan', blends futuristic synth elements, acid squelches and rich oscillating sounds that bubble away alongside traditional instruments, driving along a heavy percussion highway. The title track comes with 2 remixes. The first is by New York modular master Kamran Sadeghi with his interpretation, which takes the pace even higher with a groovy bassline characterised with tortured bells among a whole host of killer ambient sounds. Then label boss, Artur Nikolaev, steps up to remodel his edit with some of the elements of the original and lifting it to another level with sweet sounding filters and pads, always focusing on solid grooves. The second track Bahama Lama' is another industrialised techno masterpiece tinged with an edgy bass plucked aggressively along with a full horn and an uber-modern string section. Finally, Career Camel' is a ten minute composition that from the offset hits you like a freight train, capturing your affection with tough low frequency sounds fused together through infectious drum patterns and ending with a resonant melody.

Fresh from releasing on the main Kayf imprint, ROOT (TUN) has delivered another 3 track EP stomper for Kayf Limited. Elements EP is a five track offering, which includes two amazing remixes by DoubtingThomas and label boss Artur Nikolaev. The first track, Blaze, takes the listener on a funky, minimal journey as it continuously builds with delicate bass line and smooth, layered synths. Frenchman DoubtingThomas's rework is an amazing, stripped down, deep chilled vibe tinged with ethnic vocal chants. Nikolaev's remix is a more aggressive minimal dub techno treatment, injecting a dance floor friendly groove while respecting the metallic sounds of the main mix. Psychedaze is an elegantly percussive track that is smooth, deep and highly pleasurable. Bursting out from the murk, Deja Su is an infectious groover that lifts out from gloomy, deep distant sounds, transforming into another funky percussive driven track. All 3 original tracks certainly pack punches and resonate with ROOT (TUN)'s characteristic sounds.

KAYF is very pleased to publish its first ever vinyl release.  This very special 3 track EP is produced by the label’s founder Artur Nikolaev.

The A-side track, Sex Under The Sun, takes us on a sensual sojourn building from basic, elementary acid stabs and fractured beats that  gradually fire up into a punchy, funked-up dance floor stomper.

Break showcases Nikolaev’s infectious production style, with complex broken beat patterns licking and stabbing through an uplifting, tropical baseline.  

Completing the B-side coupling, Sex Under The Moon is forged from similar production style as with the first two tracks, but is more intimate and increases both in intensity and tension, prolonging a climactic build-up which really hits the spot.
