Born in Houston, Tx, Kay Jay was raised in the Spring Branch area, although due to a troubled, drug-infused youth, he spent over 5 years incarcerated in TDCJ for crimes committed before making a drastic necessary change. Since his 4 1/2 years of a rehabilitated life back home, he has completed an Associate's Degree in Music Business as well as starting his own Clothing Line/ Recording Studio called C10ud LLC. His music is inspired by the trials and tribulations he has faced throughout his life from beating multiple drug addictions, being robbed for everything he had and losing both his mother and father from terminal illnesses and almost losing his own life after a 5 day coma from a drug overdose. He definitely has a real story to tell and hopes to inspire others in life by sharing his experiences through his #1 passion... MUSIC!!!!
