A voyage through all the senses, sensations and rhythms.  Awaken to the deepest part of your spirit through the tools of dance. Step into your skin, reclaim your body, take up space and surrender to the unfolding dance that is YOU.
 
A set infused with a diverse range of influences, from exotic tribal rhythms, earthy percussion, etheric voices and cross-cultural instrumentation to create a sonic incense for the mind and body. 

In this set I follow the five rhythms; Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. The 5Rhythms, when danced in sequence, are known as a wave and  a practice of being in your body — that ignites creativity and connection with your inner self. 

We reclaim the medicine and wisdom held within our bodies through ritual and embodiment practices. Through them, we safely release into the full depth, density and dimension of the body, moving through the clear and opaque parts and pathways that hold the potential for action and expression that is undivided, free, full of awareness and love.

Each new place that we land in is an expansion of the ground of our being, a reclamation of our home in the wild, where every creature-sensation, perception, and emotion is welcomed, met and allowed to move. We become more receptive to the innate clarity and joy that resonates and pervades through every layer of our body, rippling outward. Attuning to the consciousness that is the body, the dance arises by itself. No doing, no doer, no agenda, no rules, no boundaries.

Discover more of your natural instinct, attune to different parts and energies hidden from our everyday consciousness, and discover new flavors and dimensions to our desire and longing for life, for expression, for creation.

And when what is uncovered is held in safe, non-judgmental space, and is met by a series of rhythms in a multi-dimensional soundscape, what arises is one’s own unique dance.

In Siargao, we are building a radically empowered community by giving ourselves permission to freely move and express in a safe, non-judgemental space. By showing up for ourselves, we give the members of our community permission and playful encouragement to do the same.

Each person is given the opportunity to discover and define dance for themselves, and are given the space to express with the whole of their body, through movement, sound, stillness and everything in between.

Untamed ⟡𖦹๛ Ecstatic Dance in Siargao ⟡𖦹๛ Hunter Full Moon

This was a super special and magical Cacao Ceremony & Ecstatic Dance at our home @forgotten_land in Arambol, Goa. 🤍

We gathered together to dance, enjoy and celebrate as One. We commited to untaming ourselves, inch by inch, layer by layer, connecting with our wild and innate truth. 

Flute Wizard @subhash_prem_giri graced us with his presence, intuitively jamming alongside us with his wizardly flute skills. 

Handpan extraordinaire @davideswarup lullabied us into a deep meditative state during the closing circle, sprinkling his magical and calming essence as always. 

Our fairy @shaktimegs held us in a sweet ceremonial space, opening us up with mama Cacao and adding her live vocals throughout the experience.

This Untamed felt super special as it also signified my rebirth ~ stepping into ‘Kaylani’ ~ Heavens of the Oceans and Skies. 

Endless amounts of love for the beautiful souls who danced with us on this special day and for the vulnerability, connection, warmth and sweetness. 

I feel deeply honoured to be apart of this special event and to be able to give back to the Arambol community. A community that has given us so much. Thank you for being part of this co creation 💖

Untamed ⟡𖦹๛ Ecstatic Dance in Arambol, Goa

Gratitude, Midbar Festival, for gifting the opportunity to play in Israel - a truly special journey. This was the first evening dance of the festival. 

Starting with a deliberate slow and steady pace, my intention was to guide the audience gently through the dance starting with psychedelic, slow and bassy rhythms. Prior to my set, my dearest brother, Pina Baran Albatlos curated a beautiful & electrifying ecstatic journey, prompting me to create a more subdued build-up to the first peak. 

Inspired by my surroundings, I played a diverse mix of Middle Eastern melodies, from Egyptian bellydance beats to electronica, ancestral medicine music, organic soundscapes, and groovy rhythms. 

Completely unaware that a war would erupt on the final day of the festival, it seemed as though the Spirit of the Desert beckoned us to fortify our connections and embody a loving presence as a global community. While we danced, we unintentionally forged a healing space for the entire world, unknowingly preparing our hearts for the challenges ahead.

Kaylani ⟡𖦹๛ Ecstatic Dance @ Israel Midbar Festival  ⟡𖦹๛

Our hearts are ablaze with gratitude & admiration ~ thank you Wonderfruit for bringing us in to the fields for us to share the magic of Untamed. 

We opened with prayers, ritual & cacao medicine guided by @shaktimegs which opened our hearts and brought all of us together. Gathered with the shared desire to UNTAME ourselves and find our fullest expressions ~ strangers became friends, wonderers came home to themselves, we became one collective heart. One with the music ~ taken on an enchanting and energising sound journey ~ the space became alive. I intentionally crafted this set with lots of high energy so expect joy, release, play & extroversion! 

High spirits, at moments we reached max capacity with 80-100 people in their dance, with many more wonderers being drawn in as the music called to them. The energy indescribable! Twisting & turning, spiraling &  evolving, eventually we began to ground with live flute by @danni.devi & a heart expanding live song with Danni & Megs. 

We share the set with you now, wherever you are, so you can also experience the joy & bliss of ecstatic dance. We encourage you to create an Untamed Ritual with yourself or with friends, and let yourself be taken on a journey in and out 🌀 A perfect way to close & celebrate all that 2023 has gifted us, and make space for 2024 🚀

Untamed ⟡𖦹๛ Ecstatic Dance @ Wonderfruit Festival, Thailand

My heart is filled with gratitude & admiration ~ a heartfelt thank you to Golden Pyramid for inviting me to share my love of ecstatic dance.

One of the most cherished aspects of ecstatic dance is the uniqueness of each journey. 

I was uncertain about the audience's response to this set, playing diverse soundscapes that I wouldn’t usually explore for ecstatic, but the reception was truly heartwarming.

Musical wizards, Joel and Alex joined me during the Peak playing live didgeridoo and drums. High energies & spirits, we stomped our feet on the earth and let loose. We closed the sound journey with live violin, drums, guitar, and heart-expanding live songs with Alex and Joel.

Kaylani ⟡𖦹๛ Arambol Ecstatic ⟡𖦹๛ Celebrating 4 Years of Sharing the Vibe

What an honour to share my love for ecstatic dance on behalf of Untamed: An Ecstatic Experience Philippines at Being Gathering on the sacred lands of Boomland ~ a truly incredible gift. 

Here in the heart of Boomland, we feel free to be, to explore, and to express. This set was dedicated to untaming, peeling back the layers, and casting aside any masks to reveal the truest essence of who we truly are. 

The energy of the set is uplifting, playful, joyful and energising, which matched the energy on the dance floor ~ vibrating with the love and unity of every soul present. 

Thank you to everyone who danced with us ~ your presence turned the previous night's heavy rain into a memory, replaced by the blessings of sunny and clear skies. 

Thank you Being tribe. May this set serve as a celebration to untame, to find freedom in every movement & every breath, and to embrace our raw, authentic selves.

Kaylani ⟡𖦹๛ Being Gathering Day 1 (Ecstatic Dance at Boomland)

It was an honour to play at Pyramid in Koh Phangan. This was a co creative journey alongside several sisters, all weaving their Shakti magic to create a beautiful journey for the community. This was a hybrid DJ set with viola and vocals. The energy here was wild, primal, and alive. Expect to activate ~ the frequencies are set to lift you high.

Ecstatic Dance at Pyramid is a sanctuary, a place of pure heart, where we gather to dance and play as unburdened spirits, shedding names and forms to reveal our truest essence. For many of us, Sunday here is a return to that inner sanctuary ~ a home filled with the light of the universe, a love that speaks directly to our hearts.

Thank you to the 200+ souls who joined us under the Wolf Moon ~ the first Full Moon of 2025. Held at Soul in Arambol, Goa, we danced barefoot under the full moon and around the fire, co creating a magical night of dance, singing & celebration, untaming ourselves and celebrating the beauty of connection and gathering as one tribe, one heart, one family. 

Thank you to all the facilitators & musicians, space holders, friends, sisters and brothers for co-creating this experience. 


Kaylani ⟡𖦹๛ Tribal Full Moon Gathering Ecstatic Dance @ Soul, Arambol ⟡𖦹๛ (14/01/2025)

Join me in this 1 hour breathwork journey, recorded especially for Wonderfruit Festival 2024, where my sister and I guided 80+ participants over two sessions through a powerful breathwork experience. Designed to support deep release, transformation, and expanded awareness, this journey invites you to explore the depths of conscious connected breathing.

Breath Retentions:
There are three intentional breath retentions woven into this journey. My recommendation is: 
1. First retention – on an inhalation, inviting in oxygen and expansion.
2. Second retention – on an exhalation (recommended for experienced breathworkers ONLY or under supervision), allowing deep surrender and nervous system recalibration. If new to breathwork, you can practice retaining your breath on an inhalation
3. Third retention – on an inhalation, holding as long as feels comfortable, embracing presence and stillness.

Timed retentions at:
- 14.23 mins for approx 2.5 minutes (hold for as long as you can and then return back to the circular breath) 
- 31:01 mins for approx 2.5 minutes  (as above)
- 47:37 mins (hold for as long as you wish before floating into relaxation) 

Integration & Relaxation (14 Minutes)
After the breathwork journey, we transition into 14 minutes of deep relaxation, allowing your body and mind to fully integrate the experience. This is a time to surrender, let go, and rest in the stillness created by your breath. You may experience a sense of peace, emotional release, or deep clarity as the nervous system recalibrates and the energy settles. Simply rest, receive, and allow the breath’s wisdom to unfold within you. Have full trust that the breath has taken you exactly where you need to be. Allow yourself to fly and enjoy the relaxation period.

Breathe with an open heart, a soft willingness to surrender, and a space where your breath can move freely. Give yourself permission to dissolve the edges of the mind and drift into the infinite.

Kaylani ⟡𖦹๛ Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey @ Wonderfruit Festival 2024 ⟡𖦹๛

Our final breathwork journey for the season is here @ the Breath Temple in Arambol. Held on 31st March 2025. 

This 50-minute session is a deeply transformative experience, woven with intention to guide you into a space of release, awareness, and deep connection. It’s a journey I intentionally crafted for our final journey at the Breath Temple, a space that gave us and the collective so much healing and light. We will forever be grateful for this beautiful container held in Mama India. 

It contains two breath retentions at 18:51 and 41:35, followed by 10 minutes of relaxation to integrate the work.

Breath Retentions:
We will explore two intentional breath retentions in this session. Here’s my recommendation for each:

1. First retention at 18:51 mins: Fully empty your lungs and hold your breath here for 1 minute, then  take a deep inhalation and hold your breath here for another minute, allowing oxygen and life-force to expand throughout your body.
2. Second retention at 41:35 mins: Hold your breath here on an inhalation for as long as feels good for you before gently returning to your natural breath rhythm, as we flow into relaxation straight after this. 

Integration & Relaxation (10 minutes):
After the breathwork journey, we move into 10 minutes of deep relaxation. This time allows your body and mind to integrate the experience fully. As you rest, feel the wisdom of your breath continuing to work within you, recalibrating your nervous system and creating space for clarity and emotional release. Trust that the journey has taken you where you need to go. Let yourself drift into peace and enjoy the final moments of stillness.

Breathe with me, with an open heart and a soft willingness to surrender. Let your breath move freely, dissolving the edges of the mind, and simply allow the experience to unfold.

For the past five years, Kaylani has played worldwide, bringing her passion & devotion to ecstatic dance to many epic global stages such as Midbar Festival (Israel), Bali Spirit Festival, Maha Kumbh Mela (performing Ananda Tandava, the cosmic dance of Shiva) in india, Pyramid in Koh Phangan, ED Berlin, New Vision Festival, Wonderfruit Festival & One Tribe Festival in Thailand, Being Gathering at Boom Land in Portugal, Forgotten Land, Shunya as well as Soul in Goa, India, where she held a residency for New Moon and Tribal Full Moon Gatherings, and many more global dance floors. 

Beyond the international stage, Kaylani has been instrumental in establishing Siargao Island’s ecstatic dance movement. As one of the creatrix's of Untamed: An Ecstatic Dance Experience, she has helped shape a thriving scene where music, movement, and community come together. Through her sets, she has introduced a raw and immersive dance journey to the island, attracting both locals and travellers seeking deeper, uninhibited expression.

She loves to blend deep hypnotic melodies, tribal percussion, folkloric instrumentation, and driving rhythms to create a transformative experience on the dance floor. More than just a DJ, she is a sound alchemist and movement catalyst, crafting sets that push boundaries, ignite deep emotion, and create a powerful sense of connection.

Kaylani’s mission extends beyond the music itself. She is dedicated to building and sustaining a global ecstatic dance culture, where people can gather, move, and express themselves freely. Whether on a festival stage or an intimate island gathering, she continues to devote herself to what it means to dance ~ raw, unfiltered, untamed, liberated and fully alive.
