We tie memories to emotions, places, colors and we are able to remove ourselves from those memories when the time is right. What happens when the feelings and traumas don’t disappear, when one town reminds us of the very monsters we don’t dare reminisce over? This is “HomeTown.”

ASHTABULA is a song honoring my hometown in Ohio. I wrote this piece while struggling with the grief surrounding my Nana's passing in March of 2019. I hope this song can help those of you who may also be dealing with the passing of a loved one.  Thank you for listening.
