Being a true 80's baby, I grew up watching Top Of The Pops, MTV and The Box so was constantly surrounded by pop music. This 2080's mixtape is the best in current hit records mashed up with 80's pop anthems that were the soundtrack to my formative years.

For anyone who might have thought I was limited to playing hip hop alone - listening to this should prove otherwise.

Kayper returns to her Futurebox imprint with her Memories EP. Featuring three new original tracks, the Memories EP is the first of a series of new music from Kayper set to drop in 2019.

Kayper is the UK-born, New York-based DJ and producer whose turntablist-inspired DJ sets, and bass-heavy productions have seen her win praise from Pitchfork, Clash, BBC 6 Music, 1Xtra, Radio 1, and beyond.

Though a music tech graduate, Kayper first made her name in the DJ booth as one of the world’s leading turntablists. Since moving to New York from the UK (where she’d also been a BBC Radio presenter, with residencies at clubs like Ministry of Sound), she’s held down US residencies at LIV (Miami) and Hakkasan (Las Vegas)

Her turntable skills and live performances have seen her become a highlight of parties including the Neon Carnival at Coachella, Lollapalooza, SXSW, Glastonbury, and Amsterdam Dance Event.

Her debut release, a collaboration with Engine Earz (‘Gimme Some’), saw her signed to Mad Decent via label boss Diplo. Further singles followed (‘Out Of My Mind’, 2 million + Spotify streams), and she then began signing productions to labels including Spinnin’ (‘Someone’) and Eton Messy (‘What You Say’).
