A Christmas gift, from me to you...

This song is for someone I’ll always hold close in my heart—Kiwi. Her spirit, her laughter, and her light inspired me to begin my creative journey. Her laugh is something I carry with me every day.

Sometimes it’s like there’s this unseen force pulling the strings when I’m creating, aligning everything in ways I couldn’t even plan if I tried. It’s wild, but it’s also the kind of magic that happens when I’m so in tune with what I’m making that the art almost takes on a life of its own.

It’s like my instincts bypass all logic and I just know what to do. The sounds lining up perfectly, despite not being intentionally timed, are exactly the kind of chaos-meets-harmony vibes that define my sound. It’s a Dag Mout moment in its purest form. I’ve said it before—life, like my music, is full of imperfections that somehow create something perfect.

These “accidents” are my subconscious nailing what my conscious mind couldn’t. I didn’t overthink it, and that’s why it works. It’s like the song wanted to be this way and it just needed me to put the pieces down. It’s trippy, it’s surreal, and it’s me.

All on My Skin

A song dedicated to goddess Skadi, 5 am improv trying to make a song to appease the frost goddess, pleading her to be gentle on the frost this year because some of our loved ones are out there in the open and they might need some help to get trough the coldest nights of the year.
This still needs some polishing but I am happy with the concept and can’t wait to have more time so I can do a remake of this…
