The original “Sad Robot” collaboration between Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur was heaped with acclaim when it first appeared on John Digweed’s Bedrock label a year ago. This sparkling gem of a track pushed all the right buttons with a euphoric attitude that only comes from years of experience of rocking the best dancefloors around the world week in week out, and now the label is set to take the story to the next level with 3 diverse, exciting new remixes.

The enigmatic Rich Lane from Newcastle Under Lyme (who also records under aliases such as Original Disco Thing and Chug Norris) has been gaining plaudits for his musical creations that loosely fall into the realms of what are variously tagged “Slo-Mo”, “Chug”, “Nu-Disco” and even “NEW New Beat”.  By channelling the sounds and feel of classic House, Techno, New Beat etc. and mellowing the groove towards a slower mid-tempo ride, whilst adding a sprinkling Post Punk, Funk and Synth Pop, Rich Lane is a masterful producer who draws together so many disparate elements that seem to unite a particular type of music lover. Here, through his love of classic analogue sounds, he has created a truly original take on “Sad Robot”.

Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. The beaked being returns with the third in the series of Fantast remix EPs, once again offering a collection of dancefloor-focussed reworks from some of his current favourite producers.

The third chapter features reinterpretations from former Trouw resident Patrice Bäumel and Off Recordings mainstay Simion. 

In an album campaign that has already seen remixes from Franky Rizardo, NiCe7, Super Flu, Tensnake, David Penn, Pirupa, Cassius, Lee Foss, Catz N’ Dogz, MK and Lindstrom, Mihalis Safras, Eagles & Butterflies & Prins Thomas, the third EP has maintained the momentum and picked up where the first left off. 

Claptone is a unique proposition in modern music. There was a child born on the planet of Technotron and was given the name Kazaroochi at birth. As a baby, his parents sent him to Earth in a small spaceship moments before Technotron exploded. His ship landed in the Australian city of Melbourne. He was found and adopted by a tribe of ravers, who called him Kaz.

Kaz developed various musical abilities, including incredible DJ skills and impressive musical tastes in House, Techno and Disco. His foster family advised him to use his abilities for the benefit of humanity, and he decided to become a world renowned DJ and producer in order to provide like minded humans with an environment where they can come together in a gathering of dance, happiness and freedom.

To protect his identity, he wears flamboyant shirts and goes by the alias of KAZ JAMES when making humans dance. Kaz resides half the year in LA and the other in Mykonos.

Kaz’s obsession for red wine can be witnessed at any of his live shows around the globe.

Recently Kaz produced club anthems “Paradise”, "Through your love”, “Dazed” and his latest summer hit “Stronger" which features @mralilove .

Kaz has now set up his own record label... which he named “Another Record Label”. The label will launch this summer 2021 with “Not in Love” a collaboration with @itsnickmorgan

In a recent interview with Fox News, Kaz James was quoted as saying "I don't like to take myself too seriously. I prefer my music to do the talking.”
