Best known for lush, steely deep house on Ab Initio, the label he runs in France, Sebastien San has been releasing tunes since 2006 but there is a real sense his career has only really just begun.

During 2013 alone, he dropped three solid EPs — 'Bouncing', 'Drumology', 'Lunar Dance' — and next is 'Photonics', which came out earlier this month, and we're expecting plenty more over the course of the year.

A melodic slab of intricate 909s and icy chords, it's another example of what Seb does best, whereas 'Kepler 22-B' is stripped back, frazzled techno made for the twilight hours.
'Horsepower', however, shows a meatier side to his music. Functional dancefloor robotics at their absolute finest and you can download it for free below.

Parisian label Meant Records has been churning out mechanical and groove-laden electro and techno music since its conception in 2008 and after releases from Remain, Vosper, Matt Walsh and Remote, we're always excited to see what they'll do next.

Alien Alien are next up on the label and the duo made up of Rodion and Hugo Sanchez have released via labels such as RoccoDisco and Get Physical. Their 'One By One' EP is receiving support from the industry's shining lights, with Erol Alkan, Damian Lazarus, Dubfire, Maceo Plex and The Hacker all playing this one out.
