Here's a fun electro swing remix of 'Top Cat', a classic animated sitcom made by Hanna Barbera that ran from 1961-62.

Composed with samples of vocals, dialogue, soundtrack and sound fx from the show; including layers of banjolele, xaphoons, muted trumpets, electric organ and a lot of vintage tape plugins!

I don't usually post covers/doodles that I work on, but Nick was an absolute inspiration and revelation these last few days (I suppose Skye deserves a mention too). I've mashed 6 of Pogo's most famous themes in this piece, see if you can find them all ;)

Pogosynthesis

So I took the stems from Dre's "Nuthin but a 'G' Thang" and ended up with this remix. Wasn't really sure if it would fly when I started, but I've gotten some really good feedback on it so I thought I'd share. Not your conventional remix for sure, but who knew alt-rock and hip hop would pair so beautifully? The original synths worked great over guitars (especially for the funky chorus part) and the whole thing just sort of came together after that. Check it!

Sorry for the hiatus. Certain life issues have been killing my creative drive lately along with my self confidence. So I'm fixing that asap. No more second guessing/over thinking about uploading tracks. ^^

On a lighter note though, I got some big projects coming up later this year and already got a bunch more tracks in progress for them.

I'm currently a solo, freelance music producer who makes both original and cover tracks as well as VG remixes.

I'm quite the fan of music, I've got a lot of plunderphonic tunes saved (even a few ska songs), and I hope you enjoy them.
I really hope the artists behind these songs don't become awful... I'd hate for the stuff I like to age poorly...
