Baham is a coming ‘together’ in the creation of a shared experience, a musical partnership between friends, an artistic expression of a collective. A multimedia project led by the Montreal based The Doctors, the duo of Houman Farzin & Kam Kafi bring together elements of folk music reinterpreted through electronica. 

Their ‘You Are Simin’ EP for Blond:ish’s ABRACADABRA will tickle your technicolour senses, and with an added remix from Gab Rhome & Adisyn, another spiritually effecting release enters the ABRACADABRA catalogue. 

“We found this amazing 70's Persian Western record where the main verse says "You are the one", and thought how poetic to use that as our first release. It was like it chose us itself. The Shahre-farang from the cover art, originally designed by Maryam Khosrovani, inspired this idea of a glimpse into a foreign world, and here we are offering everyone a glimpse into our culture in a playful manner. My journey into music started completely by accident.
One day, my friend introduced me to FL Studio, which is a music creation program.
We were just having fun with friends, making beats and uploading them to SoundCloud. That was about it at the time. 
Later on I had a great desire to write music professionally and I began to spend all my time on it. 
At that time, all my knowledge about electronic music came down to listening to artists such as: Avicii, David Guetta, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar.
Basically everyone that was on MTV in those days. 
I never thought I would start writing electronic music myself, but I was wrong.
With time I started to listen to more underground music and got attracted to such artists as Solomun, Tale of Us, Carl Cox, HOSH, Artbat,    
Anfisa letyago, Boris Brejcha, Charlotte de Witte, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner. 
and that list was growing every day. 
These people had a major influence on the kind of music I started making and I quickly got involved. I started practicing almost every day and some of my music started appeared on small labels. 
My goal is to keep doing what I love and hone my craft for as long as I can. 
I truly believe you can feel everything I want to say to the world in my music.
