Living a double life, Vindya is enjoying international, repeated performances in her compositional career, while simultaneously establishing her presence in the energetic and groove-oriented techno communities across Europe. Raised by Sri Lankan parents, she grew up listening to a variety of religious and cultural drumming rituals, so it comes as no surprise that her dance music output aligns with the vastly repetitive, percussion-layered and turbulent techno sound. As she kicks off 2024 with a powerful closing set at Meat Free's New Year party and gears up to release her first collaboration EP, Vindya's longevity as an artist is guaranteed.

For this particular mix, she brings us some deeper, darker and more turbulent sounds that she's been rediscovering lately, as she explains. Including unreleased music of hers, she approaches the mix as if it was a live performance, intentionally leaving the tension unresolved at the end, leaving us with a desire to keep going.

Known for their raw, unfiltered approach to techno and broken rhythms, the Italo-Moroccan duo delivers a four-track arsenal that thrives on distortion, intensity, and a subtle touch of dystopian irony.

Built on a sci-fi-tinged vision of war and chaos, Raw Eloh twists traditional structures into something unpredictable. Shut Up and Run opens the EP with a hypnotic 4/4 pulse, a relentless techno tool rooted in the duo’s live set. Unperson takes a darker turn, blending warehouse-weighted kicks with fractured break loops and evolving cybernetic synths.

With Negotiator, the boundaries blur—starting as a driving 4/4, it mutates into a broken-beat assault, layered with an unsettling vocal loop taken from a news report on nuclear negotiations. Finally, AHRB strips everything down to the essentials. Brutal, minimal, and mercilessly effective, it’s a tool designed to cut through the dance floor with razor-sharp percussion and sheer sonic force.
