This week's Junto was to record a simple, rhythmic piece of music that increases speed as it proceeds. First it will double, then it will quadruple, and then it will sextuple. An interesting idea, and one that had me thinking about using multiple switched clocks to generate the tempo changes. To make it more interesting, instead of having just the master clock change tempo I used three different and independent but correlated clocking systems with lots of switches and sequential switches, to achieve a mixture of two sequences that change speed in the required 2-4-6 manner, with the changeover points dictated by the third clocking system.  I then faded in the sequences and tweaked the filters as the track moved on to a slight crescendo, then eased off and faded out.

TwoFourSix (Disquiet0246)

A new kind of ambient for me, and the "material" behind this is improvisation on  electric violin, via a guitar amp.

Hopefully this will encourage me to use the violin more. Perhaps it'll become more audible, even!

Recorded in 2012 and originally titled 'Beard Boogie', 'Jams 'N' Jellies' is the first of many old songs that I'll be reworking and releasing in the next month or so. 

It's total nonsense, thanks in part to the lyrics being fuelled by a cookery book and too many nights in watching reruns of The Mighty Boosh.

Long story short, this is the result of a great friendship that started in 1995, but the name Kble was introduced in the mid 2000's. Before that, we just didn't care about naming this project and were just about making original electronic music; without any prejudices.
