To Louis Agular and his weight loss. I use to weigh 250lbs back in 2011. Now I weigh 170lbs. Just like you I was very apprehensive about running outside and later the gym. Ultimately I decided that I wanted to run outside, regardless of the embarrasement. I have to disagree with Korey (understanding that he was stating his opinion!!) and say that my time at the gym was aweseome. YMMV but generally I have found that people are not as cynical (the fattys only stay for a short time) and yes pretty damn happy to look in a mirror. But they are also very supportive everyone has their own goals and generally, people at the gym want that for you to. Losing the weight is hard. But really the mental aspect of it might be the hardest part to wrestle with *after* you use loose the weight. On one side the people who know you/have not seen you in awhile will CONSTANTLY tell you how good you look and on the other side (if you ever felt invisible...an oxymoron when your overweight, lol) you will begin to notice that you start on a more neutral ground than just being the fat guy...or maybe it was all in your head. Anyways best of luck to you. I know I thought it was impossible but hey, 3 years later I am still 80lbs down and 30lbs lighter than my original goal. It may be harder to keep it off than on.  Just dont stop getting that heart racing a few times a week once ya become the stud you want. -nk

Hey guys, I can't believe I skip this podcast. I really appreciate you guys answering my question. I wrote so many questions before that I didn't thought it would get answered. I wrote it cause I thought there would be a lot of people in my situation. I know I sounded very dramatic so I apologize. This was truly the motivation I needed. Very truthful with no cliches and lots of humor. As far as my progress goes, I'm still on the struggle, but this was definitely a kick me up to keep going. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement and thank you to everyone else for nice comments.
