1) Neil is a very closed minded scientist,  to him if it's not possible today then it will never be possible.  for example,  if he existed 100 years ago and he was asked if computers could ever be, he would say it will never be possible. 
2) There are thousands and thousands of habitable planets such as ours, it is illogical to think tis impossible for other life to exist. Martin check out the wow signal, it's a I'll tell sad but very freaking interesting.

What the hell, I totally get where Martin is coming from, but I also share Korey's frustration. We're always speculating these things, but if we actually got real confirmation that would be amazing, it wouldn't change our way of life or anything but it's definitely still worth something. And if we had the technology to detect them it might not be unlikely that we can communicate with them, even if we can't meet face to face.

In today’s times (Especially since the early-to-mid 2000s), nearly every radio station consistently uses sweepers, promos, etc. several times an hour, to brand themselves on air sonically, aside from just the on-air talent. Many also air sung radio jingles occasionally per music set to brand/identify their station’s branding further. 99.7 WOOF FM is a radio station from Dothan, Alabama airing a mainstream adult contemporary format. This station airs jingles heavily every hour/music set, and only airs one sweeper after commercials (To get back to the music) every other hour!
