it was over 800 not600; yes comic shops are open but not a lot of people are going; sadly most comic readers are like most book readers in general: snobs. they refuse to read digital and there are some who are on a soap box of "we must support the comic book shops" not realizing they are hurting the industry as a whole. comics will live without comic shops but they dont get that so they are not buying comics so the industry is taking a hit. i talk to a LOT of people in the comic world, critics, friends, strangers and the numbers dont lie: 90 mil digital vs over 700 mil physical........the snob part comes with the bogus "reading digital isnt the same. i need to feel the book"....girl bye lol its the same words! i dont get humans
