I'm curious if you've heard of #NotYourShield and the true story behind it.  I ask because, when you started talking about female and non-white supporters of #GamerGate, I half-expected you to use the terms "sock puppets" and "uncle toms", Corey.  I really did.  Both sides of the 'debate' have seen harassment and threats pointed towards their respective supporters.  There's even been some #GG supporters who lost their jobs because of the actions of some anti-GG harassers.  However, the vast majority of the threats aimed at either side have come from trolls trying to throw fuel onto the fire.  Despite the bad, though, both sides have done a lot of good too.  Hell, #GG supporters were the ones who managed to track down and identify Anita Sarkeesian's harasser.  They reported him to the FBI, of whom I believe are taking appropriate measures.  What I'm saying is, you're buying into quite a lot of the Twitter/Tumblr anti-GamerGate bullshit.  Both sides are guitly of poor behavior.  Both are 'guilty' of good behavior.  Just don't believe everything negative you're hearing about people in #GamerGate.  (For clarity's sake, I'm not a #GG supporter; in so far as ideological movements go.)
