I'm an open format DJ, and I discovered it kind of by accident (or out of necessity), and the loop feature is something that has worked for me very well. However, I never considered chopping the loop in half. Now that I know it would sound nice to chop it every 8 or 4 beats, I feel like I've been playing it safe all this time. I've learnt this tip: Start searching resonant frequencies from the left of the frequency spectrum. And only remove resonant frequencies in the high mids or highs if you can hear it without creating any peaks by yourself (Don't add peaks in highs or high mids to find resonant frequencies)  4
