So when gain staging would you also suggest to base the samples volume on RMS?

A few years ago we heard all the OG DJs completely lose it about the SYNC button  lol. Since then, I have seen a ton of talented DJs post mixes, and I've seen almost ALL of them use sync!   I've heard DJs describe SYNC as a crutch... but everybody knows crutches can also be used as stilts! Stand tall! And do you!

As a engineer I honestly would say the tutorials are actually treasures. I’ve grown as a engineer because of the different techniques broadcasted on YouTube. It helped me understand what I don’t like or do like in mixing. Without tutorials I would be lost and music production school didn’t even teach a lot of stuff I learned from professional engineers on YouTube.

I like to use dynamic low shelves, one within the other very gently. And I emphasize very gently when sculpting lows along with the appopriate roll off or low cut for want of a different term. I smashed the like button as well for you bring da good stuff as usual.
