Barrie graduated from San Diego State University majoring in Television and Film Production. He enjoys cooking just as much as being a journalist in the television and film profession. A remarkable student, he produced his award-winning show called “Animal People” at KPBS Public Broadcasting, was a show announcer at Sea World and interned at NBC as a producer for various programs. Most importantly, he served as the music and news director for KCR College Radio at San Diego State providing vital news to students everywhere. About Me:

Lincoln Kang grew up in rural Eagle Pass, a town of dirt roads, small shopping centers and small neighborhoods in Texas near the United States-Mexican border.

Now, he is living in San Diego and he graduated from San Diego State University with honors as a first generation Korean American Cum Laude graduate.

He majored in Journalism with an Emphasis in Media Studies and minored in Women’s Studies. He went into journalism because of his curious nature and passion to discover the truth. 

He worked as a board operator at Clear Channel Communications, a global media and entertainment company in San Diego, California. He served as a producer and sound engineer at KNSJ 89.1 FM in San Diego. Also, he worked for a public relations agency called c3 Communications as a promotions manager in San Diego. 

Recently, he worked as a marketing consultant for an online real estate company called Homes Media Solutions. 

At SDSU, Lincoln has managed a campus radio station called KCR College Radio. Some of his other areas of expertise are creating podcasts, interviewing local bands and creating magazine ads.

Outside of journalism, he practices Brazilian Ju-jitsu, snowboarding, watching movies of all genres, listening to rock and pop music and writing adventure stories.

In order to embrace his heritage, Lincoln has participated in Taekwondo, Korean cooking, acrylic painting, Korean calligraphy and has written Korean poetry.
