David Lynch is well known as an experimental filmmaker, directing such cult classics as Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, and the TV series Twin Peaks. He’s also a musician, with two studio albums under his belt. He’s less known as a visual artist. But this weekend a show of new paintings, drawings and watercolors by Lynch will open at Kayne Griffin Corcoran in Los Angeles. KCRW’s Avishay Artsy stopped by the gallery and talked to Lynch about the new work.

Jamie and Marisa’s love is irresistible. It’s so sweet, Jamie worried it would sound saccharine, but it’s true and kind and generous. And it’s about to be celebrated by their "favorite dearest sweetests" at their wedding. Even a  few years ago, they wouldn’t have been able to legally marry each other, but today they are glowing with the anticipation of celebrating with family, friends, and even the state.
