After having made is MNL debut earlier this year with the release of 'Iron Forest' as part of the infamous 'Seasons' series, Buenos Aires resident Brian Muszkat is back with a solo release on the Manual Music subsidiary.

Brian Muszkat has joined the ranks of the many talented progressive house producers hailing from Argentina. You know what to expect with these guys; a mystique dreamy sound, stellar production quality and that trademark Latin tribal rolling vibe you won't find anywhere else in the world.

'Walking On The Edge' is no exception. A proper peak time progressive dance floor burner that will find it's way to the scene's elite without a doubt. 'Arctic Vains' has a bit more of a straight forward vibe, a rolling progressive techno cut if you'd like to stick on a label on it.

Kicking off Poker Flat's 20th anniversary series of remixes, Tim Engelhardt drops two sublime re-interpretations of Berkson & What's classic cut Keep On featuring vocals from the legendary Robert Owens.

With a back catalogue that spans over more than 300 releases it's no surprise that many Poker Flat tracks have remained club and DJ staples to this day, so to celebrate the anniversary the label hand picked a number of key records for a remix 
treatment.

Here, Tim Englehardt launches the series in typically exemplary fashion with two intricate, emotionally-charged and utterly compelling remixes.

As one of Cologne’s youngest and brightest electronic music stars, Tim has become a key player in the Poker Flat family over the last few years, releasing a slew of incredible singles and EPs, not to mention his debut album 'Moments Of Truth' in 2017. Since then he has grown in stature to become one of the most respected producers on the circuit.

His first remix is a slow-burning, broken beat re-imagining, with gently undulating synths, dramatic chords and ethereal pads providing a hypnotic base over which Owens vocal works its magic.

With his other remix, Engelhardt retains many of the elements of the former version but this time employs a more traditional 4/4 structure, adding a slow-burning tension with dramatic pads, dreamy synth stabs and glistening keys.

Berkson & What - Keep On Tim Engelhardt Remixes

German artist Ruede Hagelstein lands on the Do Not Sit on the Furniture label with three suitably moving and emotive deep house tunes. 

Hagelstein became a resident DJ at Watergate, one of Berlin's most popular clubs, and has released on the club's own label as well as Bedrock and Souvenir. This summer he has played with the Do Not Sit crew and now comes correct with this latest EP. 

Opener Dort is a lush deep house cut with thoughtful chords and intimate lyrics that make it all the more absorbing as it rolls on and sinks you into a reverie. Drueben is made with Justin Evans and has wispy chords and rubbery, rolling drums that are warm and atmospheric and encourage you to empty your mind of all thoughts. Gestern is the tender closer with more humid pads, twinkling keys and the distant sound of church bells all making for a heart achingly gorgeous mood and groove. 

This is an emotionally stirring EP that fits in perfectly with the Do Not Sit ethos.

Argentinian duo Biotech Patagonia return on Moonchild Records after having debuted on the label last summer with their remix for A Skitzo's Against Us single. This time they carry the weight of a solo release titled 'Iceland EP' which features two originals + two remixes by Hacobb and Unseen.

The title track is a mysterious, deep and melancholic piece of work featuring a beautiful eerie vocal. Modern Agenda / Blaufield / MNL artist Hacobb takes the deep and dark sound of the original but turns it into an uplifting, intelligent progressive house mover, whilst the Unseen. duo goes for a more stripped down and intense approach.

Tassilo is the second original by Biotech Patagonia. A melodic techno track full of interesting sounds and a proper builder, very mature sounding!
