Dissident Music is proud to announce Progressive Revelations Volume 2, a new unmixed compilation featuring 20 of our favorite Dissident tracks of the last several years. Following in the tradition of excellence set by Progressive Revelations (Volume 1) in 2023, this new collection showcases the breadth and depth of the label's sound and features some of its most notable artists. Indeed, Progressive Revelations Volume 2 features tracks and remixes from some of the most notable and exciting artists in the world of progressive dance music. This includes both established and rising artists such as Amir Telem, Kamilo Sanclemente, Mind Of Us, Noel Sanger, Jamie Stevens, Gai Barone, Hobin Rude, Mono Electric Orchestra, J Lauda, Panayiotis Tassis, Abstrakt.Digital, Kaspar Tasane and many more. Since its inception, Dissident Music has been a mainstay in the progressive house scene. After several years of successful releases, the label went on a brief hiatus, resurfacing in 2018 as a division of Miami’s Essential Media Group. Dissident has gone from strength to strength in the years since, releasing high-quality music, garnering support from the world’s top DJs, and consistently landing in the progressive house top 10 on Beatport. With Progressive Revelations, we take a look back at recent and foundational releases and we offer the package at a budget price. Progressive Revelations is set for release on January 26, 2024, and will be available on all major digital music platforms.

Ich habe mir einen Access Virus B gekauft und wollte damit einen Techno-Track produzieren“, erzählt der junge Produzent W.T.F.. Mit seiner Neuanschaffung wollte er die Stärken des Synths nutzen und jagte deshalb den Leadsynth im Track durch so viele Effekte, bis er ihm gefiel: „Ich liebe sehr harte Tracks beim Raven!“ Tracks, die unerwartete Wendungen haben, aber trotzdem an Energie gewinnen und sie nicht verlieren, gehören zu seinen Favoriten. „Ich produziere also meist Tracks, bei denen ich denke: „Sowas kommt im Club zu selten!“ Oder: „Das habe ich so noch nie gehört!““ Diese Komponente ist der letzte Drop in seiner neuesten Produktion, die den Titel „W.A.R.“ verpasst bekam. „Nach mehreren Drops wird man am Ende für das lange Warten mit einem großen Finale belohnt.“ (...)

Club-focussed heaters are only a part of musical development. Sometimes you need to catch also the strings and melodies of a certain moment. From silence to wild nature noises, from sunshine to deep and dark winter mood. You are coming home with a melody in your head and you find peace in some hard and techy sounds coming in and bringing movement for your blood. Diverse like life, thats Mononoid's first longplayer. 

"Elf" is the first track creating a spacious atmosphere were you can loose yourself in, but still keeps you on the right track. "Anna" is intense and wide open, without loosing the trippy character. "Monorus" is full of magic with it's hard switch and it's spacey flair.A walk through an unreal world brings the track "Parks and Gardens" - a blues guiding you to a place in between where the clouds open up. 

With our dear friend Beatamines the dutch duo created "Yotta" which is a very techy track for the late night in the club. "Take steps" will bring you home finally with a bag full of new ideas and sounds. Enjoy this beautiful trip and don't get lost on the way - how the guys described it together with Amy White.

To kick off our 6th year, Steyoyoke Recordings is thrilled to unveil “Quadrivium”. A brand new project where each volume will feature four tracks from four different artists. Volume 01 presents tracks from talented producers such as Matchy & Lunar Plane, Strinner, Lost Soul and K.A.L.I.L..

Matchy and Lunar Plane open the EP with an original track titled “Brahman”. Its infectious beat instantly sets on a journey through light and dark where a hypnotizing dialogue of synths unveils wonders.

Next up is “Continuum” by Strinner. The track starts off with strong beats that awaken emotions while melodies emerge in a constant motion of progressive rhythm and echoing synths. 

“Landscapes” by Lost Soul has a light and airy feel. The excitement is felt through sound suspensions on a journey through universal matter. Gradually gaining deeper mood, the track preserves all its delicate keys.

Closing the EP is K.A.L.I.L. with his track titled “Shori”. Here, iridescent melodies weave around captivating notes. Deep melodic synths bring nostalgia approaching a break into euphoric territory.

Release Info: 
Rising out of Israel's electronic underground and making their microcastle debut are Kadosh & Nariz. The former sits as one of his country’s freshest and most highly touted artists. In relatively short order the Tel Aviv resident has found a home on Aeon, Innervisions, Watergate and his own Frau Blau imprint. Also a highly regarded DJ, Kadosh has programmed music for some of the world’s most forward thinking clubs, namely Watergate and The Block. Also calling Tel Aviv home is Nariz who is a regular at some of his country's trendiest venues such as The Block and Forum. Having recently partnered up with Kadosh, the duo released their first joint production c/o Stereo MC's Connected Frontline imprint. With forthcoming music also signed to TAU, the duo continue to build on that creative synergy with their microcastle debut alongside remixes from Ruede Hagelstein and Monkey Safari.

Beginning with the rolling beats, exotic drums and tonal creativities of the title cut, the Israeli duo aim squarely at a peak time dance floor. Spacious yet dramatic, it's a lesson in building tension through concise programming and a unique cross pollination of blueprints. Less has resulted in more on this one, with the sentiment that you don't need a sledgehammer to crack open an egg perhaps never being more apt. Operating on a transcendent level, the EP then shifts energy with the companion piece 'Deep Valley'. Once again possessing a dramatic undercurrent, it’s bulbous bass tones move through moments of emotional energy, while electric rhythms and striking overlays create a compelling canopy of sound. Mysterious yet emotive, it's arcane storyboard excites while a warm, pulsating groove, underpins the track, translating it’s spiritual message to the dance floor.
