"I want to take the listener on a journey- I love the idea of being able to explore different worlds through sound," Keane Freeman tells Apple Music in 2022. Incorporating elements of americana, progressive rock, gothic, and world music, Keane Freeman is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist who creates a uniquely introspective and ethereal brand of Alternative rock.

A self-taught musician from age 12, he taught himself to play guitar, piano, bass, drums, and harmonica, as well as various types of flutes, whistles, and percussion instruments. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge where he received classical training in piano and voice.

He began releasing his first multitrack recordings around 2005, selling them at live performances as well as online. Some of these recordings were remastered and released to online distributors in 2014 as "Retrospective". In 2022, Freeman released "Children of Faith", a single including several remixes of the track, a gothic-tinged psychedelic homage to 70's prog rock acts like Pink Floyd. 

In 2020, he founded the alternative music project Pink Buffalo with lyricist/singer Frisco Cook. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
