“METS”, meaning “forest” in Estonian, is an experimental 4-track EP by Keazala, born from a year immersed in the rhythm of sunrise psytrance sets and the quiet, grounding beauty of Estonia’s pine woods. After six years of travelling, Keazala’s return home became a spiritual reawakening — a reconnection to roots, rhythm, and reverence for nature.

Each track weaves together pulsating, fast-paced soundscapes with ethereal vocal textures sampled from the poetry of Artur Alliksaar (1950s) — fragmented, reimagined, and carried through the forest like distant echoes of the past. The result is a sonic journey that blurs the line between movement and meditation.

METS invites the listener inward and outward at once — to dance, to breathe, to remember. It’s an offering of love to the land, to community, and to the timeless pulse that connects all living things.

Earlier this year, we commissioned a remix of Daäna & Brendan Lawless' beautiful track 'Amesha Spenta' to be done by Frezel (of Aftertech Records fame), one of our good friends and now frequent collaborators.  Unfortunately, in the midst of finishing this remix (and an assortment of works for other labels), Thomas' studio computer suffered a HD malfunction and subsequently lost all session files. Fortunately for all of us, he managed to bounce out a near-finished version in MP3 format before this it all went down. 

On behalf of @Frezel and us here at Techgnosis Records, we are pleased to offer our fans a completely free download of this *nearly lost* treasure of a remix.

The story of this track goes way back, but we will cut to the time label boss Ben Rama was invited to play a festival in New Zealand, where he met the super friendly and talented Spoonhead. Ray subsequently sent us this tremendous prog-tech reworking of Grouch's impeccable track 'Schizvukt' (originally released on Copycow) and we are very pleased to be finally releasing this bad boy as part of our 'Free Cloud' series! Ben Rama wrote this way back in 2017, and started playing it out in his live sets in 2018. While never planning on releasing this one, it always seemed to be a crowd favorite for its captivatingly hypnotic flow sent dancers into a trance every time. We've seen him experiment with this tech-trance leaning style before on his Muggi Dane and EEEMUS remixes, but this was the prototype for that sound. Look forward to his upcoming EP on Techgnosis Records later this year; if you dig this tune, you will love what we have in store from the boss man himself!
