Keeno returns with his 1 Year of Keeno Music Album - a celebration of the first year of his new record label. Featuring the co-writing talents of Makoto, In:Most, Diandra Faye & more, this album marks a new step in pioneering his Orchestral Drum & Bass sound.

Will ‘Keeno’ Keen has been a touring musician since the age of 8, performing in choirs worldwide and playing clarinet in orchestras. When he fell in love with electronic music, he began blending classical music and drum & bass and was quickly signed by Hospital Records at just 19 years of age. His intimate and emotive sound attracted a passionate fan base worldwide and his catalog has surpassed 100 million streams. Today, Keeno is running his own independent record label: Keeno Music. The forthcoming album & sold out hometown event "1 Year Of Keeno Music" is the final chapter of an intensely successful first year.

About this recording:

I am proud to present you Episode 51 of the Bristol Mix Sessions Livestream series. 

This time, I'm taking you back to 9th July 2021 in Bristol, U.K. with myself, Etherwood & Steve LP (BMS Resident) on the decks!

Clubs were open at the time but under seated restrictions. The Bristol Mix Sessions team & I curated seated events at Basement 45 when we could, bringing a host of talent (from Etherwood, Walk:r, In:Most, Something Something, Lilac, Shadows, Missledz & more) to hungry DnB fans. 

Now clubs are fully open in Bristol, the team & I are stepping up to provide you with the best DnB events we can. We've already booked artists such as Whiney, Telomic, Averse, Grey Code, Spectral, DJ Dazee, Natty Lou, Subtle Element, Lurch, Lally, Kyrist, PRSPKTV, Kublai, Note... + we've got shows planned in November & December.

Keeno thrives with his cinematic and orchestral offshoots of drum & bass, silken smooth soundscapes and deep weighty bass.

Opening track “Faithless” sets the scene with elegant and epic string sections jumping into a playful arrangement. With serious drum-work in place vocal talents Oscar Corney, MC Fava and Alice Gasson bring tracks “Lifeline”, “Perspective” and “A Breath” to life with tight harmonies and rich, velvet tones. Keeno hasn’t held back in “Dream Sequence”, “At Twilight” and “Futurism” with majestic grandeur travelling seamlessly through star-lit journeys of sound and space.

The growth and musical virtuosity of this young talent has flourished since signing to Med School back in 2013. By uniting his high-end production skills and classical training in a multitude of instruments Keeno has quenched the thirst of drum & bass lovers across the globe.

Last year Keeno took a leap of faith, deciding to leave his full time education behind to set his sights on what is sure to be a long career ahead in music. It’s abundantly clear this was the right choice - “Futurist” embodies everything we’ve come to expect from this exceptionally talented young producer.
