If you like Jungle music, then you will know about Uncle Dugs! The man behind Rinse FM’s most popular show, the Sony Award-nominated #RCFF (Run Come Follow Fridays), Simon Duggins is a veritable rave professor. Educated in the original rave trenches, graduated on the pirates brandishing a doctorate made of pure vinyl, he’s been neck-deep in rave, jungle and drum & bass culture since 1991, collecting, supporting and hardcore grafting with game-changing, scene-defining platforms such as Rinse and Kool FM.

To celebrate episode 200 of my Radio Show it had to be a special episode right...?
As Goldie once stated "There are really only two kings of this music; Dillinja & Calibre. Everything in between is us,", so who better to have as this month's Producer in Focus than King Dillinja.
In all honesty i wanted to do this episode earlier, i was just in the process of hunting down a few hard to get tracks that were only available on compilation albums before putting this set together
This 2hr plus mix focuses on the time period between '93 and '95 and covers work as Dillinja and under other aliases (Capone, Trinity, Rups), remixes he did during this period and a few collabs with the late DJ Clarky R.I.P , who sadly passed away a few weeks ago.
To say he was prolific during this time period is a massive understatement - on top of all the stuff that is still only available on Vinyl (for big $$$ on Discogs), there is a heap of his work that has still never been released(there is a whole thread on Dogs on Acid website solely related to unreleased Dillinja tunes!!)
Thankfully due to the hard work of people like Dom & Roland and Deep Jungle/ Dj Harmony quite a few unreleased dubs from the 90's have finally seen the light of day over the last few years, with hopefully more in the future,
