This was a track written as pitch for the world cup in South Africa 2010 and then later allowed to be used on this album.

6. Take A Stand

'Your Song' was inspired by the passing of my grandmother, who was my second mother. 
The song is not about death but rather about life and the appreciation of life. 

It is dedicated to my late grandmother (my oumie) and to my family but also to everyone, hence the name YOUR SONG.

It is a song dedicated to my daughter Isabella. 
The sample of her heartbeat was taken from a recording I made using a doppler when she was about 9 weeks old, and then developed into this song. 

The song is a message to my daughter and I speak about my past and my hopes for her life .
It was filmed in two locations London and Johannesburg which represent my past and future.

Late at night

An artist with no boundaries, exploring musicality while learning what it means to be love, through songwriting, singing, rapping, playing guitar, bass... and pushing all the buttons...

Originally from Johannesburg South Africa, started writing and performing in 2002 with live bands and various musicians as a spoken word artist while studying sound engineering.

Moved to London at the end of 2005 and has been living and working as a freelance sound engineer since 2010.

He is also the founding member and owner of abstract sun (www.abstractsun.com), which is an independent production company based in London, focusing on recording, mixing, mastering and promoting good music, no mater what the ‘genre’.

My first album, the exhibition @ sunrise is a collection of thoughts, collaborations and experiences put together in the first few years upon arriving in London while trying to learn a new lifestyle meeting new people, visiting new places and finding myself in the process and is an eclectic mix of spoken word, hip hop and alternative or world music.

I am currently in the process of working on new songs possibly for an album called Folk Thugs an Harmony or to be released as singles working with and amazing producer (Colby). My first release is set for Autumn 2014
