Grace Schella ist als DJ/live act/Kuratorin in der freien Kultur- und Musikszene aktiv. Sie ist eine der wenigen DJs, die als bevorzugtes Medium noch Vinyl spielt. Ihre DJ Sets fließen durch Genres von Electro, Techno, IDM bis hin zu House, Funk und Jazz.
Mit ihrem neu gegründeten Label Electropia Records setzt sie auf industriellen Electro, abstrakten Techno und integriert ebenso experimentelles Sounddesign. Ihre Ausbildung an der SAE Wien, 2014 legte den technischen Grundstein für ihre Labelarbeit und Produktionen.
Mit der Organisation der aktuellen, transmedialen A/V Serie „Electropia – Parallel Systems“ schafft sie Räume für elektronische Liveperformances sowie interkulturellen Austausch internationaler und lokaler KünstlerInnen. Dabei stützt sie ihr Konzept auf Theorien aus den Bereichen Elektromagnetismus, Quantenmechanik und der Resonanzlehre.
Grace gibt ihr Wissen gerne an Frauen weiter, die ebenfalls an elektronischer Musikkultur interessiert sind. In den DJ Workshops bei LAMES St. Pölten, school 1050 konnte sie junge Menschen ermutigen, sich mit der DJ Kultur auseinander zu setzen.
Sie unterstützt das von Electric Indigo gegründete grassroot network female:pressure und co-gestaltet im Rahmen der IG Club Kultur immer wieder auf orange 94.0 ausgestrahlte Radiosendungen.

The futuristic dark minded creative known as MANASYt has been releasing music since 2003 with his most recent output, just released on vinyl this week, being 'MANASYt vs Sam Lowry,' his second album on @bunkerrecordsofficial. In considering the power and connectivity of Neptune's influence, the inaugural NI mix closes with a MANASYt track on a VA Bunker release. He is based in Xiamen 厦门, China by way of Bulgaria.

Since the mid 90’s, Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave and experimental house. Respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno and electro as RA-X in the 90′s on labels like Bunker and KK Records, Koreman comes from a DIY punk background, opting for hard work and political stance rather than hollow pose and insta likes.

Drvg Cvltvre’s music takes the speed down a notch to emphasis on the heaviness of sound and using the space left between the pounding kicks to build melancholic melodies that seem to grow out of thin air. A blend of dark techno and deep house with lots of experiment, influenced in equal parts by Suicide, Sun Ra and Terrence Dixon.

His discography is a staggering collection of releases on labels like Warp, Permanent Vacation, Viewlexx, Pinkman, Omnidisc, the legendary Nervous Records and his own imprint New York Haunted, that has been gaining momentum as a bastion of cool, experimental house & techno in an increasingly stale and bland music scene. Drvg Cvltvre is a sought after live act and dj that has been playing everywhere from Shanghai to New York and from Sydney to Helsinki, leaving crowds in awe of his hardware live sets and stellar dj selections. 

Drvg Cvltvre’s tracks are staples in several well known Djs sets. His cuts get played by Nina Kraviz, Speedy J, I-F, John Talabot, DJ Stingray, Juan Atkins, Jackmaster, Marcel Dettmann, Helena Hauff and many others. He’s been featured and interviewed by DJMag, Mixmag, Resident Advisor and The Wire.

Which artists has influenced you the most?

- Sun Ra, a mystic jazz musician from the US that also started his own label. Suicide, 2 man punk with synths group from NYC and Omar S and Terrence Dixon, two very distinct producers with their own sound and bringing the black roots of techno back to the current sound. Besides those I listen to a ton of metal and punk and also some dub.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- There's a new album coming up on March 1 on Diffuse Reality, it is called UNREALITY and has 10 new tracks, plus there is a new 12" coming on Shipwrec with 4 electro tracks. Also a new album on Logic Of The Signifier, called The Mind Is A Portal which contains a track I made together with Dutch artist Sigrid Calon, originally for TUSK Festival. 

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- Right now I think our own label New York Haunted is totally on point with the new releases. There's so much good stuff coming I can hardly believe it. Besides that I'm currently listening to a lot of Lloyd Cole & The Commotions and some new death metal, Vacuous, Cerebral Rot and Worm.

What inspires you now to create music?

- There is no inspiration, it is a necessity for me to be mentally healthy. I NEED to create music because I will become depressed if I can't make music for longer than 1 week. I have a young kid so I don't have that much time besides my job, so every spare minute I'm not spending at my job or with my wife & kid, I'm using it to make music.

What set-up do you use when creating music? 

- Depends on how much time I have. Sometimes I'll just record some parts on my phone or on the Ipad, or record layers on desktop tools like Forrester or Drone. If I have slightly more time I go up to the attic where my setup is and record hardware to the computer or sometimes just start with something I've recorded in the past week and build on it in Cubase.

On the 6th of February we held a party to celebrate our 2 years of Phormix. The line up of the event included a mix of both local and international DJs and producers in the likes of Dynamons, Morah, Miltiades, Svengalisghost on a live performance and last but not least  Mr. Mick Wills himself. The night was on fire and Mr Wills did his best to keep it that way. He played for three and a half hours straight making the crowd go wild and sweaty.The venue(Six D.o.g.s) never been so deep and dark before.  This set brings back colorfull memories to us! Also mr Mick  played more 5 hours at our after party in secret location.

Nuutti-Iivari Meriläinen aka dcom (@dcommunications) was born immersed into a world of music, starting with classical music studies at an early age and playing multiple instruments as a teen. His interest towards electronic dance music and away from the popular was kindled by a trip to Ibiza at the tender age of 14, kickstarting an obsession to refine an already eclectic taste in music. dcom has been playing a wide variety of electronic music for almost 30 years from his meticulously curated collection ranging from ambient soundscapes to rhythmic industrial noise.
