Sam (@samtheories) and Valentin (@valentin-wedde) from Berlin met Manu from Symplektik at this year's Waking Life Festival. The two of them made a wonderful audio/visual installation in the festival's cinema. After long, animated conversations about music and art by the lakeshore, the idea for this mix was born. For this episode, they have put together a selection of their favorite downtempo and ambient tracks.

this mix smells of chloride and sunscreen. it's meant to be enjoyed while neither completely standing upright nor really lying down (you figure it out)

but in all seriousness, this summer brought about my first real excursion into the world of mixing. this concoction of dubby, housy and breaky beats is what i've managed to put together after wearing no hat in the sun for just a bit too long. i hope it brings you something (:

The first two hours of my warm up set in @funke_fu for @kuba97 & @djmaria-jp

this was by no means a perfect set, but I had the most wonderful time engaging in this push and pull with all the present souls.
it was an enchanting experience swapping around this energy, as I hope you can feel through this recording.
a big thank you to everyone there, Kuba for the trust and funke for being a place where music is felt, first and foremost.
