A Remix of the track "La Tour - Blue" from the early 90's.
It is played in the club scene of  Paul Verhoevens film "Basic Instinct" with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone released in 1992.

At the beginning and the end of the remix I created house music, but there is a litte dubstep in the middle part. ;) So it is a mixture of several styles.

Taking its lead from the distinct musical styles at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel’s two venues – The Club and The Tower – The Unexpected Sessions Vol. 1 brings you cutting edge dance music from across the spectrum; the first disc packed with pure, uplifting party anthems while the second drops the BPMs for a deep excursion through the very finest house music around.

On CD1 you’ll find some of the biggest names in EDM dropping hit after uplifting hit, including Alesso’s ‘Crash’, Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes ‘Here We Go’ and the huge Iban Reus remix of Todd Terry’s seminal ‘Jumping’. A couple of months ago, when we heard that we were going to get to mix our first Essential Mix, we had absolutely no idea what we were going to do. It's a very big deal for us to do this mix. We decided to use a lot of old records and tracks that we really liked when we first started playing together in our hometown in Poland. That's why, for example, we asked Jacek Sienkiewicz to send us 'Dream Machine' and also why we included Michael Mayer 'Speaker'.
There is a lot of old vinyl that we included especially for our Essential Mix. Harry Kane, T-RWKR, Arto Mwambe, Needs, Terry Brooks and one of our all time favourite records from Alex Cortex that we even edited specially. We really have to thank Axel Boman for introducing us to Bassroots 'Good Life' and Marcin Czubala because we discovered Sofrito Specials through him.
There is something from our label Pets Recordings, that our friend Nikola Baytala from San Francisco will put out at the end of May. It will be his first EP for many years and this track is probably one of the most trippy things we've ever released. That's why we love it so much! There are a lot of tracks in the mix that have their own story but, for now, we're gonna let the music speak for itself'. Catz 'n Dogz, April 2013.
