I've had the privilege of playing some of Chicago's coolest late night lounges on a regular basis, and I've come to really enjoy curating the music and setting the vibe for rooms that don't require dance floors. There are less rules, less pressure, and more time and space to focus on creating a vibe & energy in the space. I decided to start recording these sets and uploading some of my favorites in my new mix series "Live @ The Lounge". Thanks for listening!

Seville Rooftop (8/23/24)

Part of new series of live mixes to be released each month focused on providing sounds that align with a new archetype each month. This month is the explorer archetype:

Goals: Broadening horizons, new experiences, uncovering treasures & unraveling mysteries.
Fears: Stagnation, fear of the mundane.
Flaws: Impulsiveness, tendency to prioritize exploration over personal relationships.
Skills: Survival instincts, adaptability, expertise in a specific field.

The Explorer archetype symbolizes the thirst for adventure, discovery, and the pursuit of the unknown. Explorers are driven by a desire to broaden their horizons and seek new experiences.

Your ego always waits around the corner. Be aware and stay humble. Sometimes you do not realise it in the moment but universe always has your back and sends you people who are more aware than you and help you to get back on track. Not taking yourself to serious and making wishes for all of us - if you nurture your environment you also nurture yourself - stay present and thankful for what you have.

What is Cosmic Music Movement?

My electronic sounds 4 rookies project was being transformed into Shamanic Tantra Techno. But for the reason that I am no Shaman and I am not an expert in Tantra and I do not play too much Techno the name had to be changed.
When I opened myself up to this change ready to let go of an idea, another soulmate of mine Jasileo channeled my new name: Now we have Oso Blanco (the white bear) presenting Cosmic Music Movement. There was a shift into a higher frequency but I still do, what I always did:

With shamanic tantra techno, or Cosmic Music Movement now, I try to take you on a soundjourney. There is a dramaturgy throughout the whole set, and within as well. It is also about the lyrics, of some songs that are provided. The electronic sounds 4 rookies project was just about combining as many different music styles possible in two hours.

Diversity is wonderful. So many different music styles, so many outrageous
sounds, we have it all, so I want to provide them all. And when I do it, and people gather for the music, and not for a special music style, they can learn from each other how to honor the different sounds. It is an inclusion, every music and everyone is welcome. And my idea is: The more openminded you are the more you are able to enjoy different sounds. You see somebody enjoying music, you personal would not enjoy in the beginning. But you can see and feel the enthusiasm, of somebody else, and like that you maybe have the possibility to change your perspective.

This is like life. We have to make peace with things we can't change. It makes no sense to be annoyed by something for all time. Acceptance is the key to happiness. And therefore we can use this opportunity as a training for our lives. We hear a sound, we don't judge, we accept, and then we start to enjoy....

If presented live there is an opening ceremony where everybody can put his intentions into this dance and a Breath-work before we start a two hour music journey, that will take you literally everywhere. No rules, every kind of music and every kind of movement will be welcome - sometimes fast and loud, and sometimes slow and low. It will be a journey through all possible emotions.
