Here is my old school set from the 1994 event that was 2 months ago at The Classic Grand nightclub in Glasgow, hosted by one of my best friends in the scene DJ MC Mallorca Lee! 

I wanted to play a full on old school set that was packed full of loads of the tracks that heavily influenced me back in the day and have helped to shape the sound that I have today, early 90's trance, hard trance and acid trance..like the Noom Records releases and stuff like Harthouse, Bonzai Music (Official), Eye Q Records and Important Records etc etc.

Mark Sherry LIVE @ 1994 (The Classic Grand, Glasgow) [27.08.22]

Back in 2001, when the dance project that I used to be a part of (Public Domain) was flying high all around the world, I was asked down to London to the Nukleuz Recordings HQ by Ed Real and his team to mix a double compilation album CD called 'Hard Dance Anthems'. 
The project was a collaboration with Warners Music, so that I knew right away that it was going to be a massive compilation and could potentially be huge for my profile as a DJ. 
I was given a lot of control over what tracks that I wanted to license for the album, which was really great, but there were also a few that had to be included as part of the agreement between Nukleuz and Warners that I wasn't so keen on...but fortunately there were only a few of those lol.
I've uploaded both discs to my Soundcloud as 2x separate tracks, so that you can check them out...only 22 years after it was released!

Public Domain pres. 'Hard Dance Anthems' (Disc 1) [2001]

Edinburgh has always been a city I've been fond of and some of my most memorable gigs in Scotland have been there over the past 20 years. From Nuklearpuppy, Xposure and some massive events such as Godskitchen, Tiesto, EH1 and Fantasylands at the Royal Highland Center at Ingliston.

This was my first time playing for Magnetic and my first time playing the Biscuit Factory. A great venue which really had an authentic warehouse vibe. It was a great night with a knowlegable crowd who really knew their tunes. I highly recommend that you check out their forthcoming events for a good night out in Edinburgh.

The set comprises of some of my favorite tunes from the days of the Arches with some brand new material.

14 years ago a new club night was about to be unleashed in the UK, that night was Goodgreef. From its early days at Philips Park Hall in Manchester too its Worldwide Tours and hosting arena's at some of the biggest festivals, Goodgreefs home was Tall Trees Yarm. 

For over 10 years, Goodgreef at Tall Trees brought some of the biggest names in Trance, Hard Dance & Hard Trance including... Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Matt Hardwick, Scot Project,  Organ Donors, Lad 4, Tidy Boys, Kutski and Judge Jules but, for all the Superstar Djs that graced the Tall Trees Dj Booth, Goodgreef was one of the first brands to put its faith in their resident djs. Eddie Halliwell, Alex Kidd, Shan, Adam Sheridan & the late Barry Connell.

These Djs went on to become some of the biggest names in dance music and helped create one of the biggest dance music brands ever.

One Night At Tall Trees ( Goodgreef Classics )

We did a special Vinyl Set of all our Remixes of our Favourite Classics that we have done.

Captured Festival 2019 - Binary Finary (Vinyl Set)

With Tall Trees finally succumbing  to the wrecking ball I wanted to create a mix that captured that time from 2003 - 2008 when Goodgreef, Tall Trees and Yarm seemed like it was the centre of the universe every single month. The people I met and the times I had will be with me for the rest of my life, If you were involved with it I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I realised that there were too many tunes to fit into a single mix so i've split them into two, Part 1 will be Trance & Techno and Part 2 will be Hard Trance, Hard House, Hard Dance and Hard Style.

Obviously there were hundreds of tunes that remind me of Tall Trees, I've tried to choose the ones that instantly take me back to being underneath that Goodgreef banner, on the dancefloor. If there is a tune that i've forgotten or brings back particular memories then please feel free to let me know.
