Midnight Community is a new radio series broadcasting exclusive sets from artists all over the world who in our opinion have real eclectic taste when it comes to Electronic Music.

'Fejká' is not just a word, but a concept - a melodic blend between soft, dreamy atmospheres and the punchy vibe of techno. Torn between those two worlds like a lone wanderer, he developed his own unique way to find a perfect balance between both. His music offers a very atmospheric and soulful sound, laying somewhere between melancholy and euphoria, resulting in a unique interpretation of emotions which is seldom heard on the dancefloor. Originally from the Black Forest in Germany, he began producing his first tracks at just 17. Influences such as Kiasmos, HVOB, and Christian Löffler, contributed significantly to his development and shaped his atmospheric, and yet punchy style, until he received a personal invite from none other than Christian Löffler himself to join his label, Ki Records.

Born in Poona, India, Daso’s first club experience goes all the way back to cruising around his daddy’s disco’s marble dance floor – on a floor polisher! Now imagine this kid grown-up, having soaked up all kinds of musical influences on his “playground”, from Miles Davis and Hendrix to the day-to-day hit machinery of contemporary radio pop: he became one of the most talented acts in the electronic music circus.

Daso’s debut “Daybreak” (MBF Rec., 2006) was released only one year after his move to Cologne: one of Germany’s epicenters of techno culture.

Through the years Daso became a well-established act in the world of electronic dance music. He decided to take his next step and move to Berlin. After arriving in the capital of electronic dance music, Daso continued to release tracks through cutting-edge labels.

Above all, Daso is an extraordinary performer on a dandy level, with elegance and style.

Maybe you hadn't imagined anything in the first place but now you wish you had, or you feel neither good nor bad as those two words can’t really describe the way you feel. What is the thing that has changed but which you would rather keep the same way, and vice versa? What have you been missing the most from your life from before the pandemic and what will you never ever miss again? What has lost its meaning and what has acquired a new one? What have you decided to do once the lockdown is lifted for good, and when and where will you travel to when the planes start to fly again? How pleasant have these days been for you, or to what extent do you think they should never have occurred in the first place? There are always more questions than answers but everything seems a little mixed up right now. Anyway, today’s is the last Monday of spring, and we are publishing @fejka’s set, the 83rd out of 100 mixes that will be created for the “homard” project, which we hope to unveil to the world next year.
