Liebe Im Exil

Liebe is a weekly radioshow founded by Kris Berle & Mascha that was born in Mexico City in 2018 at Aire Libre Fm. Liebe is focused on a wide variety of artists from all over the world. We support the electronic music scene worldwide by offering the space to share the artists´ experiences and music.

The spread of the Covid-19 pandemic brings with it a radical shift in humanity. The news each day seems to get worse and worse and fear pervades in each society around the globe. However, because we must all be shut away, people are turning to their creative origins, finding new ways to connect with each other and with themselves. One of these ways, we believe, is through music. The music must keep on going. 

Since Kris & Mascha are now split up between Berlin and Mexico City by the pandemic, we’ve  decided to make a series of shows under the name ¨Liebe Im Exile¨ in Berlin at Holzmarkt to keep the scene alive and be part of the movement of positivity around the world.

You can listen to our show every Wednesday from 17-19 CEST via @katerblaumgram Online Radio Stream and at Aire Libre Fm 20-22h GMT-5

On our 29th episode of SBCLTR Radio we are excited to share an exclusive set by Madmotormiquel. Born and raised in west Berlin Michel Neigenfnd had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80's, he soon realized musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions when his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. The steadily growing success of the URSLRecords label which Madmotormiquel has been running together with Sebo and Soukie & Windish since 2010, has been a continuing reason for being booked way beyond the boundaries of Berlin. Ossi runs a creative space in Neukölln, where anyone can taste natural wine, dig records and enjoy to various music live sessions from some forward thinking musicians in Berlin.

Nihil - born in 2015. In order to finance a film project we started exploring Berlin’s underground and organized the first raves. Connected by the joy of music, undiscovered places, celebrations and the desire for a common project, a colorful group without hierarchies formed over time. A group where everyone and everything has its room and where we don’t tolerate any kind of discriminatory behavior. And here we are now, regularly organizing raves in underground locations and clubs of Berlin.
