Jumping into 2024 with a bang! Here's Volume 05 of my series, and I'm stoked for this year's episodes! Creating these mixes is an absolute delight, with a keen eye for every detail, from the artwork to each handpicked song. Enjoy 60 minutes of my passion for house music.

It's been a bit of a time in life lately, but you know - every challenge brings new perspectives. Kicked off the year with two standout weeks in Kitzbühel, rocking my first gigs on the mountains at Hornköpfl and having a blast at Take Five and Niio in Kitz town. Grande Vienna nights added some extra excitement! 

Looking forward to the spring season, lovely time of the year. People are getting more motivated, and I can't wait for the high season. Let's see what's next—I'm excited and all in! Let's make 2024 magic.

SIGNATURE vol. 05

Not unlike the first chapter, Workparty 2 mirrors the status quo within the Keinemusik camp. Featuring Rampa, &ME, David Mayer and Adam Port, it covers all of the crews producing stakeholders, starting off with Adam Port’s “86”.

A track that slowly blows itself up, letting a jolly bassline shimmer in the background, plucking its way through to imply distant memories of Ports classic track "Boogie Bass". However, "86" takes one step further. With its catchy saxophone samples, a swinging vibe and its irresistible build-up it peers towards peaktime much more than Ports 12inch debut.

Following up on 02, Rampa lights up some kind of afterburner to his last and ever startling Keinemusik-single "Work". "Meggy’s Desire" develops itself in a surprisingly minimalistic manner, galloping along in reduced beatpatterns and heading towards a soulful vocal part, which is ought to open up every one's heart. With the whole thing being rounded off with emotive piano-arrangements, it will sure make its way into those setlists that prefer class to the all too trivial. 


The opening of the flipside belongs to David Mayer and another one of his compelling techfunk-monuments. Naming this one “Blank Sheets” is nothing but an understatement, as it’s not blank at all. It actually carries the gloomiest groove we have heard in a while. Whilst his earlier works were breathing a rather subcooled machine room atmosphere, this piece is definitely his hottest iron so far.

As soon as the challenging punch of his first bars appear at the beginning of 04, one could assume, &ME made an arrangement with his B-side partner. "Empire State" also emits a somber, technoid vibe, and its frantic pulse leaves no one cold. In difference to his catchy arranged Keinemusik Milestones "F.I.R." and "One Day", &ME takes on the mantra of the essential groove. In its break, however, he will spank the whole floor's booty with his whole heart and some drumrolls.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path. Be it within their own tracks, within productions of other sorts or DJ-sets. The spirit of recall value within record- and flyer-artworks and everything intermediate in word and image surrounding releases and parties. And the spirit of diversification – Rampa’s effect-gadget-venture TEILE being one example. Keinemusik’s own booking department ‘Worldwide Dancing Club’, established in 2018, being another.

Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of the four members – &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from.
