MoBlack has curated a panoramic soundtrack for your ADE experience - to enjoy from amidst the Dutch capital or in spirit, anywhere in the world. This ten-track compilation is a tessellation of artistic synergy and cross-genre-pollination in true ADE fashion. Helming the VA at the front, Elias remixes The Provincials' "Saba" featuring Božo Vrećo's enigmatic vocals at the marrow. Paris' Ankhoï sustains the blissful vibes, debuting on the label with an uplifting dance litany, 'Hallelujah' before letting Martin HERRS take listeners on a wistful caravan to 'Ramot de Galaad' via clubland. Up next, Savito's seductive rhythmic poetry wafts gracefully through Alegria's ebullient 'Current,' followed by Alessa Khin's effervescent tantric groover, 'Santa Muneca.' MBR 509 pulses forward as Berkan and Orkun Bozdemir re-awaken the aura of the 'Lost Acropolis,' then immerses into the viscous progressions and undulations of Ways of Thinking's 'Antes Esperando.' Propelled by lush ethnic instrumentals, cerebral electronic cadences permeate deeper in Secret Factory's 'Hey Jimmy,' continuing on to ethereal depths through James Deron's devotional rhapsody, 'Ewewo.' Lastly, we leave it up to F/Theme to wrap up this sonic escapade with nothing more timeless than a mesmerizing rendition of Christina Luna's cover of Daft Punk's iconic 'Get Lucky.'

Following their Kiss & Forget album release, WhoMadeWho share a comprehensive remix package for their eighth studio longplayer. 

Seven new exclusive remixes were split across two EPs arriving on December 13th and December 20th. This is part I–including remixes by @maximeraki @denniscruz @tripolism as well as @selimsivade / Baron / @melokomusic / @konvex



WhoMadeWho - You Belong To No-One (Tripolism Remix)

A crowdsource experiment. The instruments were voted for drums, bass, synth, pad, sfx/extra on Mastodon. The results were:

Roland CR-78 for drum machine
Roland JX3P (substituted at the last minute for the modern repro Roland JX03)
Roland D50 for synth
Solina String Ensemble for pads/strings
Yamaha PSS680 Musicstation for sfx

Roland CR78 programmed with a Boss FS5U, but otherwise song mixed and played live (along with arpegiator for the bassline). Various midi devices (merge, split, midi to sync) and a bunch of guitar pedals (like Boss SL20, Pigtronix Echolation, Red Panda Particle, Boss compressor, Mutron octave divider etc were also used, fed into a Boss BX16 mixer, onto 15ips 10" tape. No computer or DAW all the way to tape.

Keinemusik (Rampa, Adam Port, &ME) - Muyè

It's been quite a wait for new &ME material here on Keinemusik. But these two new cuts, adding to our catalogue number KM046, sure have been worth waiting for. The EP starts with The Rapture Pt.II and as the title already suggests, it coherently takes up where his last original material had left us, in a stirred state of sweet, harmony-kissed affection. Known as a virtuoso of sound-details, &ME lives up to that reputation, implementing fine synth-elements and temperately rattling percussions, all conjoined by shimmering layers and, of course, an ultimately heart-melting Piano improvisation that at some point will play along to the rhythm of its synthetic brother to a finale that will leave no crowd untouched.

"Solaris" on the flipside adds indeed a futuristic note to the arrangement, opening up with a broken beat and propelling claps. A cut that, as much as its predecessor, is relying on flow and organic shifts rather than forced and peaktime formatted gimmickry, adding a synth arpeggio, white noise, vocal chants and harmonies in a rather subtle way. Nevertheless, it unfolds a compelling strength to heat the dancefloor gradually through its playtime.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path. Be it within their own tracks, within productions of other sorts or DJ-sets. The spirit of recall value within record- and flyer-artworks and everything intermediate in word and image surrounding releases and parties. And the spirit of diversification – Rampa’s effect-gadget-venture TEILE being one example. Keinemusik’s own booking department ‘Worldwide Dancing Club’, established in 2018, being another.

Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of the four members – &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from. So see you soon in a record store or on a dancefloor in your area!
