Self-meditation is an important aspect of IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy which had a profound impact on my life. 

Self is our internal energy, known as a source or soul. Self is in every one of us. It can't be damaged or broken. It's the source of our compassion, courage, curiosity, and connectedness. It has healing potential in all the parts of our psyche.

When we access more Self within us we can hear and connect with ourselves and with others. We are more grounded so to speak. 

Some time ago I stumbled upon this meditation by Darshan Stevens and as an experiment I put on a techno beat. After a year of this experiment, I believe it's about time to share this tune with you.

Nahim Bendjilali aka Nems-B is a DJ and producer based in Marseille, and manager of the famous Phonons podcast series. He's been mixing for over twenty years, and you can tell from the subtlety and precision of his sets, as much as from the impeccable selection of his tracks. As a producer, he's had some great releases on prestigious labels such as On Board Music and Oslated, and he's also included a wonderful track on our brand new compilation ACCENTVA008! 
We're delighted to welcome him here today for the month of May, in a set that's precisely groovy, subtle and minimalist, that's both deep and progressive, powerful and haunting. This creates feelings that guide us, and quite individually. It is difficult to understand or put into words. It is a process of the subconscious.
