In the latest installment of our "Delayed with..." podcast series, we continue our collaboration with the Simbiosis Festival in Seville, spotlighting the vibrant Spanish electronic music scene. This time, we are thrilled to present the talented DJ Amarat, representing the local force of Sevilla.

Transporting us to the picturesque city of Seville, Amarat's mix, which was recorded live at this year's Simbiosis festival, takes us on a deep and hypnotic voyage. With tribalistic rhythms and mystical elements, this set perfectly captures the essence of scorching summer days in Andalusia.

Delayed x Simbiosis: Amarat

Class 1990, @viels was born in a little city outside Milan (Italy). Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales. Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path appearing with a track on the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection, followed by his debut ep “Distrophism” and contributing for the 10 years anniversary of the label, among some of the most recognised artists in the scene: Donato Dozzy, Mike Parker, Shifted, Oscar Mulero, Blawan, Ness, Jeroen Search and many more.

Co-owner with Francesco della Sala of “End Of Perception”, Viels just released also on label such Warm Up, Non Series, Mord, and Semantica Records.
At the moment he is resident of the Acquario party in Milano and an active part of the organization of it.

With an increasing interest and having performed in quality clubs like Tresor, Perron, Cassette, Schron and shared the booth with the likes of Oscar Mulero, Svreca and Dasha Rush to name a few, Viels is establishing himself as part of a new wave of djs and producers approaching the contemporary techno scene.

In the case of Serious Cut, the practice of DJing is understood as the art of sharing carefully selected music, presented with care, turning each set into a true gift for both the listener and the dancer. Watching him in action, whether in a dance set or a listening session, is a complete musical experience. Raúl unfolds a sonic continuum that absorbs us with subtlety, while at the same time revealing a powerful evocative and immersive capacity.

In his work, creativity and precision come together in a carefully crafted process. Each of his performances is the result of research that dates back to the early 90s and remains alive through his constant commitment to risk-taking. This dedication, combined with a technique refined over the years, is complemented by the passion and generosity that bring authenticity to his artistic vision, making each performance a sincere and vibrant expression, always in service of our enjoyment.

Serious Cut is the project of Raúl Zapata, a key figure in Spain's underground scene based in Valencia, with over 30 years of experience. His sets are characterized by exploring alternative and avant-garde styles of electronic music, always with a personal vision and an innovative approach.

"Zilla" is a Portuguese DJ raised in Lisbon - he sonically specializes in deep and atmospheric techno. His compositions started 9 years ago while on vacation in Azeitão, Setúbal, and while discovering his tonal sound in an Italian school.
