How could you

I’ve been working quietly on something personal for a while now. It’s called BROKEN...  both the name I’m going by and the title of a five song EP I wrote and produced. I’m not singing on it, but I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing vocalists who brought each track to life in a way I never could on my own.
It’s deeply personal. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on releasing it at all. But after sharing it with a few close people, they encouraged me to put it out there. I’m not expecting anyone to listen , this is more about letting go, maybe finding some closure for a few things I’ve been carrying.
This tune is called "Hollow"
Its definitely cheesy, but its my reality..
Maybe I'll share the rest of them one day, Maybe not.  You never know with me 🙂

Love Is Blind

It never asked for my consent,
Just walked in
unannounced,
with sunlight on its shoulders
and a voice that made silence feel full.

I thought I saw clearly,
but love
love wears no labels.
It paints over the cracks,
whispers promises
through broken glass.

I gave it everything.
Not out of need
but belief.
Belief that this time
the shadows were just shadows,
not warnings.

But love doesn't see.
It stumbles.
It trips over red flags
and calls them roses.

And when it leaves
it leaves nothing in your hands
but the weight
of everything
you thought was real.
