I always loved this track, which was a very unlikely hit by The Motels when i was young. I got a chance to put a bit of myself into it, i like how it came out.
About the 'missing album'; Recorded from late 2010 through to late 2011 in both Perth and Bendigo, i never got around to pulling this together as a package, so i will gradually release them via Soundcloud.

Reflection on life’s tough decisions with 20/20 hindsight sees Bendigo’s Jack & The Kids share their first single of 2017 in ‘Your Eyes’. Recorded and mixed by Aaron Dobos (The Avalanches, Ceres), ‘Your Eyes’ melds ambient indie pop with soaring guitars and contemplative lyrics. Lead singer and songwriter Jack Kennedy reflects on the track:
"The song explores those nostalgic feelings that you get when you look over your life and you’ve had to make some tough decisions." 

2016 was a year of momentum for Jack & The Kids, winning triple j unearthed’s Bendigo Groovin’ The Moo slot, and releasing singles ‘Real Again’ and ‘Alone’, the group continued that roll this year supporting the likes of Ali Barter and Running Touch, and now turn to the release of ‘Your Eyes’ and a run of tour dates through the middle of the year.
