Furry (Remastered)

Midnight Prairie

I wrote this song after period of time where I felt uninspired to write music. One day, I was jamming on a lick I had been working on. I looked out my window and saw the sun shining and I became inspired once again. It was refreshing and I immediately wrote and recorded the main guitar track in one take. I was back. I hope this song conveys that message of hope, inspiration and refreshment. Peace!

Sunshine Blinds

Recorded this quick demo of some speaker IRs that I just got. I was excited to try them out, so I just played a few riffs from a Collective Soul song. I think the guitars sound killer. I also played the drums and bass myself, as usual. Enjoy!

OwnHammer Multi-Speaker Collection Test

Yes. The guitars sound like a buzzsaw. That was intentional. This is a short song influenced by the early 90's Swedish death metal scene. Writing it was fun and pretty fast. I wrote the whole song playing guitar on the first take. It sounded raw and brutal, so I kept it. Hope you guys enjoy.

Swedish Fish

This song represents a type of new beginning. In regards to songwriting, sometimes I a bit reluctant to commit an idea to "paper". I've realized that you just have to go for it. If you fail or the song isn't coming together, then scrap it and start over. That's the worst that could happen. As Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Alive

I wrote a beautiful droning guitar riff and decided that I had to make it sit inside of a song. Inspiration hit and before I knew it, I had a 6-minute song. The outro was written on the fly and with the piano it's just calming and peaceful. Hope you guys enjoy it!

This Evening

Just letting the creative juices flow. Hope ya'll enjoy this upbeat song that I wrote. It's got a little bit of everything in it. Also, the first song to feature my new EB-0 bass with flatwounds on it.

Collective Power

Another fun song that I had a good time writing. I tried experimenting with something different. I wanted to go for a 70's funk, R&B, soul type sound. This is what happened. Hope ya'll enjoy it.
