LIFTSHIFT is joining us to introduce his new remix album, ‘Reshifted’, followed by a brand new mix including the new tracks from the album.

As a direct spawn of the Amsterdam psychedelic influence in the 90’s, Liftshift has characterized himself with a crisp, colorful and Psychedelic sound. Since 2005 he has been releasing on the big labels like: Flow Records, Spin-twist, Neurobiotic and Sourcecode amongst many others.
In the past years Liftshift has been busy touring the globe extensively to major festival like: Ozora, Boom festival, Rainbow Serpent festival, Universo Paralello, Fusion and Exit festival. Playing in countries like Japan, India, Brazil, Thailand and Canada makes Liftshift one of the enthusiastically received and well travelled players in the psychedelic progressive scene.

Growing up in a rich musical environment, around the age of 8 Eric found himself already highly focussed on music. Anything that would make sounds and rattle up noise would have his attention.
After learning his way on a guitar he discovered the ways of music.
At the tender age of 14 he was playing in a band with his mates, hitting the stages of local bars and parties leaving teenagers aroused and dirty after their performances. Coming back to Amsterdam in ’94 from a year of living and playing in bands in the U.S. Eric found back his friends in the midst of a relentless Techno Epidemic. His mates lured him into many clubs and so called awesome “house” parties, but it was not until ’95 when Eric walked into a huge warehouse party where he found his bliss. Goatrance!

Soon after this Eric started spinning vinyl and went to all the places known to have records for sale. Sometimes needing to fight in a store over the last copy off a fresh Flying rhino, T.I.P. or Blue Room EP.
It was Artists like X-dream, Hallucinogen, Slinky Wizard and Sheyba that inspired him most at that time.
Putting up parties with his partners in crime on a scouted piece of land, a squatted 400 year old bunker or in clubs in and around Amsterdam is what got party the psychedelic fanatics familiar with his eclectic choice in music and skills behind the decks. Within no time he was playing non stop in established clubs and for the leading promoters in Holland. These successes made Eric even more hungry and restless naturally leading him on the path of studio production. After sitting inside the studio looking over the shoulder and learning the basics from Ramon Sterman a.k.a. Cosmoon and Twisted Travelers, Eric was ready to buy his own equipment and have a go at it.

In 2005 Liftshift was born and within a few years from the first day he built a reputation for tearing up dance floors worldwide and for having a wide scale of fantasy and a twisted ear for that extra pinch of psychedelics inside the progressive side of the genre. To date he has collaborated with and remixed some of the biggest names the scene has to offer to the likes of Ajja, Zen Mechanics, E-clip, Sonic Species and Allaby amongst others.

In 2015 Eric joined TechSafari records inspirited and managed by Dj Rikam from Canada. The focus of this label is blasting progressive trance!

Iono Music series continues with a conversation with Protonica which will be followed by and excluisve mix.

Protonica are Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze from Berlin (Germany). With Piet’s intuition for harmonies as a skilled pianist and certified sound designer Ralf’s feeling for propulsive grooves, Protonica deliver you their very own positive pulsing sound – a blend of psychedelic and progressive trance. The “Refresh / Northern Storm EP” from 2010 was certainly an important milestone and the breakthrough for the duo. In 2012 Protonica releases the second album “Form Follows Function” another masterpiece after their debut album “Search” from 2007.
With their energetic live sets Protonica have already contributed to making events a sucess all over the world, amongst others Universo Paralello (Brazil), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Fusion Festival (Germany), Ilo Festival (Mexico), Groove Attack (Israel) and Boom Festival (Portugal).
Ralf and Piet share extensive experience in DJing for more than a decade, too. Together they have also formed the progressive house/techno side project “Kaempfer & Dietze”.

DJ Taku from Green Magic crew is also on his way to Ozora and selecting tracks for his set at Pumpui Stage.

While on an adventure in Australia in 1997, Taku found himself in Byron Bay, the hippie, surfer, party paradise of northern NSW.
There he discovered, and fell in love with the rave culture and psychedelic trance.
Upon returning to Japan, Taku immersed himself in the Japanese rave and club scene.
In 2001 he followed his destiny, and debuted as a techno and trance DJ.
In 2002 he created the party Green Magic.
Exploring techno, minimal, goa, psychedelic, etc, he opened his mind to a wide range of styles and sounds hoping to find his niche.
In 2011, he travelled to Brazil, and after attending the rave, Universal Parallelo, he discovered the genre psy-progressive; He was hooked.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016 he played at, AND organised Green Magic, two massively popular outdoor parties, along with ultra exciting Green Magic indoor events as well.

On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 we caught up with Jake Ainley and Ric Featherstone for a track-studded view of what’s going on in TONGUE and GROOVE land.

Tongue & Groove are on a roll, with three consecutive top ten hits and being booked worldwide to perform at major international festivals they are rocking dance floors on a global level. Jake Ainley and Ric Featherstone are both deeply passionate electronic music lovers, involved in the scene for many years. They met at many Flying Rhino and T.I.P parties in the 1990’s when the scene was exploding and they forged a deep over a mutual deep love of the psychedelic scene and a passion for music production and DJ’ing. After putting on parties and Djng together for over a decade they decided to get in the studio and create the twisted sonic delights that had been turning them on and to make some proper party music.
In 2006 Tongue & Groove was born with a mission to create music that has the best combination of Progressive, Techno and Psychedelic Trance. With their musical roots immersed in the sounds of the beginnings of Goa Trance, they wanted to produce a new sound that both captures the best of that epic era with a new and exciting twist that could be best described as psychedelic techno. A sound that they have pioneered and is now spreading like wildfire around the world.
Now signed to Nano Records they have released E.P’s and tracks with Nano records and on other labels such as Echoes Records ,Iboga Records ,Flow Records, Liquid Records, Broken Records and Shifty Disco. With support coming from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, John 00 Flemming, Nick Warren, James Monro, Perfect Stranger, Tristan, Lucas, Dick Trevor and Ace Ventura and many many more.
Tongue and Groove have and are performing live at many festivals/parties around the world (Ozora/Earthcore/Symbiosis) and festivals in UK (Glastonbury, Glade, Noisily, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown) and played alongside such legends and greats as Tristan, Avalon, James Monro, Dick Trevor, Billy Nasty, Neelix, Tim Healey, Hedflux, Lucas and Shane Gobi.

Gaspard is older than the internet! His musical journey started with punk and metal, both of which remain predominant forces in his life.
He first stumbled upon electronic music back in the early ‘90s, when Eat Static blew his mind at the Paradiso, Amsterdam. From that moment the “psy switch” was flicked on and there was no looking back! He started dj-ing in 1996, and the rest is well…history..
In 2003, Peak Records was born, co-founded by Gaspard and friends Ajja S.F.Leu, Tanina Munchkina and Master Margherita. Gaspard compiled 7 of the label’s 9 Psy Trance compilations, in what has been described as ‘Swiss anti-cheese psychedelic style’!
In 2004 Ajja and Gaspard teamed up to form YabYum. Their first album “Nocturnal Emissions” (2006) is still a favourite with many-a freak. Their tracks are in constant demand with releases on international labels across the globe. The duo have recently revitalized the project and are set to build on their already sterling reputation.
In 2010, after a brief break from the music scene, Gaspard turned his attention to the solo project. His debut EP, « Abra Kada Bom » was released in 2013 on Subsystem Records. The feedback has been overwhelming with a style best descrided as “hectic psytrance with a sense of humour.” His first solo album, “Seems Legit” saw the light in May 2014 on Sangoma Records. Still riding the humorous side of psy, his tracks have been poping up here and there on various VAs all through 2014 and 2015. A committed family man, dedicated producer, and all round psychedelic character: Gaspard has plenty to keep himself busy with over the coming months and years!

Label producer KICK BONG is back on Cosmicleaf series with the freshest melodies.

Franck Jousselin musician performer and composer born in Paris. At 12 he has a passion for drums and percussion. In 1990 he formed his first band as a drummer. Signed with Barclay is programmed in many concerts and tours in France and Europe.
In 1995 he discovered electronic music in 2001 and its shares attract attention, his compositions out on compilations of various labels: Spirit Zone, Candyflip, Peak, Hoots, Chillcode, Cosmicleaf, Ultra Vista, Hadra, Ajana, Sonic Motion Blue Hour Sound. Confluent Association commissioned the soundtrack for a documentary about street art entitled Démarches de rues. In 2009 he composed the music for websites Dior and Eden Park. In parallel, he mixes in many clubs Parisians Batofar, Triptych, Divan du Monde, Gibus, Glaz’art, Dame de Canton, Cabaret Sauvage, Machine du Moulin Rouge.

Noticed and appreciated for the sound world of its services is booked from 2005 for lives and DJ sets in clubs and festivals in Europe.
Inspiral Lounge (London), Glade festival and Waveform (UK), Boom festival, Sinergia, Diabolus in musica, Kin and the 4 elements (Portugal) Existence and Omni festival (Spain), Aurora (Greece), Arcadia, Hadra, Ambiosonic (France), Club Nordstar (Swiss).

In 2012 he founded another project, Triptone with different featurings .

Key G is an ambient chill psy dub project created by Kike Garcia in 2015. Key G is the result of a whole life involved in music. He started his piano lessons when he was 9 years old and continued it for 5 years. When he was 14 he started playing drums and formed his first bands. When he was 16 he started listening to electronic music .In 1997 , it was that summer when he visited Ibiza for the first time and got hooked by the psytrance movement, its music, mood and wild parties. He started then to produce his music digitally, in 2001 and expend 3 years organizing parties in Madrid till 2003, year when he decide to move to Ibiza to live.
Tired of the monotony of psytrance music at that time he decided to move forward and he tried with several different genres. After a long period out of the music business, he is back now with his new downtempo project called Key G. in Nutek Chill Records.

AnnesZia is artist name for Anastasia Kasimova, an electronic music enthusiast and natural born dj from St. Petersburg Russia who has found her way behind the decks at the tender age of 14 playing mostly underground techno and breaks music. Not long time when her first Sets hit the “motherland” clubs for Russian electronic music scene such as “Tunnel”, “ Griboedov”. Quite soon her immaculate Dj skills put her on tour to other destinations within the biggest country of the world. Since 2010 AnnesZia discovered colorful world of psychedelic scene and decided to get into it asap. She choose to play psychedelic sound with original goa touch as well as psy chill music. She pay a lot of attention not only to musical side of her performances but also to her appearance on stage and her image of Indian beauty certainly helped her to get many followers among Russian fans of this style.As the result she got booked to nearly every major Festival event in Russia and some of her own productions have been featured on compilations for such labels as Kiss the Sound and Forestdelic and she grabbed attention as promising artist also. In 2013 her djing style gradually shifted towards Psychedelic Goa Trance and the concepts of her sets can be described as psychedelic trancedance shamanism, and she become getting known not only in Russia but abroad as well.
