Keith Mac's Special Sauce (Vol.1)' is the first installment of my brand new monthly mix series launching on YouTube and Soundcloud. The idea behind these mixes is to deliver a curated musical experience more suitable for repeated listening when compared to the more relaxed 'Keith Mac's House Party' weekly streams where I spend quite a lot of time bantering on the mic with folks in the chat. Without those distractions, expect upfront selections and some added effort on my end on the "musical journey" aspect of what makes a fun mix worth listening to. LMK how I did in the comments!

I'm back with Vol.2 of 'Keith Mac's Special Sauce', a monthly mix series I just launched on YouTube and Soundcloud. How is this different from my weekly streams you say? Well, I'm digging a little deeper for upfront music on these mixes to try to bring you a tailored musical experience that can be enjoyed over multiple listens, kind of like the "mixtapes" we used to record in the day. Overall I'm pleased with how this came out; there's a little distortion on my mic at the end there but that's what happens when we do it live, baby! Hope you guys enjoy!

Presenting the latest edition of 'Keith Mac's Special Sauce,' Volume 3! Initially set for monthly releases, I'm adjusting to a more feasible schedule of every 2-3 months. Despite the timeline, the mix series is here to stay! The cover art draws inspiration from the chilly winter temperatures experienced in Chicago and beyond over the past weeks. This joint mix originated from a conversation we had about how different dance music was when we both started out as DJs. Not better or worse; just different. Genres didn't mean much. No elevated stages. People danced with little concept of who was behind the decks.

We wanted to recapture some of that free-flowing vibe. We threw some of our old school influences in with the brand new, and maybe took some more stylistic chances than we usually would in a live setting.
