Remember that ‘advice’ is uncountable, so we have to say ‘a piece of’ if we want to make it countable. 

Can I give you a friendly piece of advice? Your boss has a short temper, so try not to upset her. 


To heed advice = to follow advice 
You don’t have to heed your parents’ advice, but they do have a lot of experience, so at least hear them out.  


Constructive advice = Advice that tries to help someone in a positive way

Can I give you some constructive advice? Change your job, you’re not cut out for (= not suitable for) this kind of work. 


Unsolicited advice = advice given without being asked for
I don’t need your unsolicited advice, so please, put a sock in it! (=shut up!)
